Ted Parrott
Ted Parrott (December 6, 1994) is a multi-genre artist and musician who originally hails from Moncton, New Brunswick. He moved to Fredericton to pursue his passion for music and has since made a significant impact on the local music scene. His unique brand of musical expression is showcased in his latest project, The Needham Tapes, a collection of ambient psychedelic-inspired recordings from a series of live sessions that capture his stream-of-consciousness performances. In addition to his musical pursuits, Ted made his debut in film in 2023, scoring and performing the sound design for McKenzie Power’s short film ‘The Loop’. His ability to blend lo-fi with psychological horror through music demonstrates his versatility and creativity as an artist. Ted’s contributions to ‘The Loop’ were recognized at the 2023 Silver Wave Film Festival, where he was nominated for two awards: Excellence in Sound Design and Outstanding Lead. These nominations are a testament to his talent and dedication to his craft.
