Karl Medina is a Filipino actor. He entered showbiz in 2013 via Kiri and Sari Dalena’s CineFilipino Filmfest entry The Guerilla is a Poet. The indie film also paved the way for Medina to bag his first Best Actor award for his effective portrayal of the Communist Party of the Philippines founder Jose Ma. Sison. His impressive performances followed in Bwaya (2014), Tandem (2015), and Oda Sa Mga Nangangarap (2015). For Bwaya, Medina was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the 2015 Gawad Urian. He is the eldest son of veteran actor Pen Medina.
