Bijay Baral is a distinguished Nepali actor and poet celebrated for his versatility and naturalistic performances in both cinema and theater. Originally from the Sarlahi district, he began his journey in the Kathmandu theater scene at Mandala Theatre before making his film debut in the 2013 thriller Chhadke. He shot to national fame with his breakout role as B.K. in the hit film Kabaddi (2014), a character that became a fan favorite for its comedic timing and relatability. Baral’s career reached new heights in recent years as he transitioned from iconic supporting roles to powerful leading performances. He starred in Kabaddi 4: The Final Match (2022) and the critically acclaimed Jaari (2023), but his most significant milestone came with Purna Bahadur Ko Sarangi (2024).
