Season 1:
Rajaram is a struggling writer, branded as boring and humiliated by publishers when they tell him that he will never find any readers. A disheartened Rajaram talks to his best friend and decides to write about sexual fantasies common people have which leads to his first hit story. With this success, the pseudonym Mastram is born.
After Rajaram becomes a hit author under the pseudonym Mastram and starts earning good money, his uncle advises him to think about his personal life and meet a girl for marriage. Meanwhile, Rajaram talks to Gopal and finds another inspiration from a person from his school days, giving birth to another spicy and saucy story for his next book.
Facing writer’s block and unable to find inspiration for his next book, Rajaram’s new neighbors, a Malayali couple, enter his life and the unsatisfied wife becomes the inspiration for his new book.
Rajaram and Madhu have their first date. At the same time, Rajaram's observations draw inspiration for his next steamy story.
Rajaram meets Madhu’s widowed aunt, who is incidentally quite young. Will this meeting with a new person result in further cementation of the relationship between Rajaram and Madhu? Or will this result in new inspiration for Mastram’s new story?
Heading to Delhi for the wedding shopping. Rajaram, his uncle and Gopal check into a shady hotel and it's not long before Rajaram's uncle runs into trouble with the police. Rajaram rushes to the station to find that the inspector is none other than his school friend’s elder sister, resulting in a resurfacing of past memories and teenage fantasies.
To find peace and solace to write his next story, Rajaram decides to go to Chamba for a while to focus. On arrival, Rajaram learns that the actress Indurekha is shooting there. Thanks to a white lie, Rajaram makes his way into the actress’s dressing room. In order to impress her, Rajaram creates a new story on the concept of the casting couch.

Rajaram is travelling to Mumbai in a train. Things turn wild when sparks fly between the train conductor and Rajaram. What follows is a passionate moment between the two. However, little does Rajaram know that Madhu is also onboard the same train.
