On meeting Madam Butterfly, Dan feels delighted and tells her that he will not mind her unfaithful act. However, Madam Butterfly refuses to join him and says that her days are numbered. She asks him to turn his love to Caw. Nevertheless, Dan cannot drive her out of his mind and accompanies her to seek medical help from Chi. Though under Chi's treatment, Madam Butterfly's health seems to get weaker and weaker. Feeling hopeless, Madam Butterfly even attempts to commit suicide but is saved by Chi. With Lung's help, Yuen's father revives his memory and recovers his sense. Reunited with his father, Yuen is determined to reform himself and strive to revive his family name. This delights the Princess who agrees to marry him. Lo Tso still wants to get rid of Dan and he makes use of Yu. In the end, Dan manages to defeat them.

It is believed that in the place called No Kai there hides a precious sword and treasures of the Ching Dynasty. Streams of martial heroes flock to hunt the treasure. Yet all boats get lost once they get into the waters of No Kai and this mystery remains unveiled for hundreds of years. The Yip family is among the many whose venture completely fails through with the father Yip Moon Tin being captived by the Ching tribe hiding in the area and the son Yip Yuen is the only survivor. The Ching tribe is in fact waiting for the opportunity of reviving the tribe and their leader is Ying Tin Wei. Though on the surface Wei seems determined to dethrone the present Emperor and re-establish the Ching Dynasty again, he in his heart is happy and contented with the peaceful life in No Kai. Nevertheless he dares not go against the will of his tribe. His son, Ying Dan, is the successor to the throne and is very kind and good-natured……
Dan is arranged to enter into marriage with To Kum who happens to hate him for his stupidity and clumsiness. Kum often treats Dan rudely and eventually she decides to elope with her lover but the plan fails. To prepare for the wedding, the tribesmen go into the town and happen to oross swords with a girl called Caw Cheong Tau who somehow is taken back to No Kai while she is hiding herself in a chest. Dan later discovers Caw and they become close friends. He also decides to help Caw escape out from his land.
The tribesmen force all captives to take a dose of drug which makes them lose their memory. Dan saves Caw from drinking the drug on the pretext that she is carrying his baby. Fearing that Caw will be further persecuted, Dan makes plan to escort her out from his land. The Yip family loses its reputation and respectable status. The housekeeper Sheung Kau Chun is determined to help Yuen re-establish the position of the family and unveil the mystery of Mo Kai.
Dan and Caw are believed to have eloped and this arouses anxiety on the part of Dan's father and mother. The former in afraid that the secrets of No Kai will be disclosed while the latter worries about his safety. Dan's disappearance brings delight to Kum who regains her freedom. In fact while helping Caw escape, Dan himself also gets lost. Wandering around, he rune into poverty and works as a servant. Because of his good nature, he spoils the plan of a gang of robbers who later avenge on him. Fortunately, he is saved by Bat King Mo who appreciates his good nature and sense of justice. Dan eventually becomes Mo's disciple.
On their way, Dan and No are deceived into believing that the Pak Family are wicked and they decide to punish them. Tuen pays homage to the Pak Family whose status is slowly rising and yet he is ridiculed by the Pak brothers making him determined to re-gain the name for his family. Mo reveals the wicked acts of the Pak family in front of a large crowd of bringing martial heroes much shame to the Pak family who decide to avenge on Mo and Dan. On finding that they are deceived by the robbers, Mo and Dan feel much regretted and beg forgiveness from the Pak family who vow to give them their due. Fearing that Dan will get involved in his trouble, Mo leaves Dan who later bumps into Gaw again when she sneaks into the house of Pak.
Dan finds out that raw is an orphan adopted by Lo Tso who is wicked and very skilled in martial arts. He forces her to become a thief and to prevent her from going against him, he make her addicted to his drug.. Dan asks Gaw to return her loot to the Pak family but they happen to witness the Pak family being attacked by a group of masked men and the whole family perished. The masked men discover Dan and Gaw and try to kill them also. However, they are saved by Lo Teo who later made Dan a prisoner at his place. Gaw's love for Dan makes her attempt to free Den from the control of Lo Teo and yet she fails. Nevertheless, Dan gets free accidentally and Gaw helps him escape. In order to save his father, yuen wants to learn martial arts from Mo who only urges him to shoulder his responsibility as the. leader of the martial heroes.

After reading a love story, Madam Butterfly imitates the act of the characters. She writes a poem and puts it inside a bottle which is then left drifting in the water. By accident, Ian finds the bottle and carries it all the time near him.
Seeing that Dan makes little progress in his skill, Lung leaves him and bumps into his old foe Chun Pu Lo and the two fight with each together. In fact their enmity started years ago when Lung won Lo in a fight and at the ewe time won her heart as well. Yet Lung refused to marry Lo who then was determined to avenge on him. When Dan finds the two fighting, he tries to stop them but is hurt by Lo. While Lo is trying to cure Dan of his wound, she discovers a strong potential inside his body and this arouses Lung's suspicion of Dan's real identity. Lung tries to deceive Dan to reveal his identity and tell about his family but Dan keeps his mouth sealed. Dan thinks that he will not live long since he is seriously wounded. So he goes to kill Lo Too and is later saved by Lung. There he meets Caw again and he decides to take her away from Lo Tso……
Fearing that she will bring trouble to Dan, Caw behaves heartlessly towards Dan who thinks that Caw has really lost her love for him. Feeling sad, Caw, leaves Dan and goes back to Lo Teo who later forces her to become a prostitute. Luckily, she is dared by the mistress of the brothel. On the other hand, Lo finds her unable to cure Dan of his wound and brings him to the imperial city to seek medical help. In order to ferret out the murderer of his family, Pak Yu joins the Yip family and is trusted by Yuen. This arouses Chun's jealousy. Yuen is taken captive by a mysterious man who encourages him to work hard and establish a name for his family as well as to destroy the Butterfly Palace. Besides, he passes his strength onto him and this makes Yuen become more confident.
On returning home, Yuen finds his house attacked by a gang of masked men. Chun is seriously wounded and Yu is suspected to have betrayed the Yip family but he is later saved by the mistress of the brothel, who knows his real identity and is eager to make him her follower. However, Yu refuses her offer and is determined to ferret out the real murder of his family alone. Yuen's strength and skill greatly increase with the help of the mysterious man. Later he gathers a party of martial heroes and make their way to Butterfly Palace. Dan, knowing that his days are numbered, joins the party. During a fight with the people of the Palace, the bottle hidden in Dan's body falls out and this makes Modem Butterfly surprised and nervous.
On meeting Dan, Madam Butterfly is deeply attracted to him and this makes her strength diminish. Fearing that the people of the Palace will harm Dan, Madam Butterfly asks her maid to set him free. However, Dan rune into great danger as he tries to save Lung who is also captured by the people of the Palace and suffers from great torture. Madam Butterfly again appears just in time to rescue him. The two go on the way together but Madam Butterfly is still doubtful about the real identity of Dan. Dan falls sick on the way and She takes good care of him arousing great dissatisfaction from the people of the Palace.
Kum feels greatly ridiculed and ashamed when she is abandoned by Dan. She leaves Mo Kai secretly to avenge on him. Kum meets Dan and Madam Butterfly on the way who then are lovers already. Kum wants to kill Dan but is stopped by Madam Butterfly who later even forces her to tell the real identity of Dan. Knowing who Dan really is sets her at great ease. Heung Yin Chi is brought up in a brothel and she hates being a girl. Therefore, she likes to dress herself up like a boy. She is a very skilled doctor and wants to change-- the brothel into a clinic. Yet she later gives up this idea upon the request of the other prostitutes.
Madam Butterfly is deeply impressed by the Dan's good-natured and affection. Later when she is bitten by a poisonous snake, Dan even risks his own life to save her. This greatly touches her and she falls him for even more. Her love for Den makes her become weaker and weaker but she still worries about Dan's wound. Knowing that Chi is the only one who can cure Dan, she escorts Iran to seek help from Chi. Despite Madam Butterfly's sincere plead, Chi refuses to help Dan. At that time, Caw is with Chi who promises to help her free herself from the control of Lo Tso. Chi does this as a revenge on Lo Teo who has once taken advantage of her sister. In the end, it is Caw who uses a trick to make Chi promises to cure Dan.
Chi finds out that Dan's wound can only be cured when he and his lover become physically united. It is when the two of them get so deeply in love that the poison inside Dan's body will be removed. However, his spouse will die after 5 days. In order to save Dan, Caw is ready to sacrifice her own life. Hut when she discovers that Madam Butterfly has done that before she leaves the Palace sadly. Dart is in grieve when he knows that Madam Butterfly has sacrifice her -own life to save her. He wants to stay beside her till she dies but she urges him to chase Caw and marry her. This puts Dan in a dilemma. Days Passes and Madam Butterfly died but her corpse undergoes great changes. Lo Tso makes use of this and deceives Dan into believing that she is intriguing against him. Den leaves angrily with Caw. 0n their way, they meet Lo Teo. After a fierce fight, the three fall down a cliff.
Dan falls down the cliff and is attacked by'. swarm of bate which miraculously enlighten him and he becomes very intelligent. With his wit, he saves Caw and leads her out of danger. The Princess still thinks that Dan and Lung are in the Palace. So she goes to seek help from the Emperor who send troupes of soldiers to wipe cut the Butterfly Palace. Madam Butterfly returns to the Palace but the people there are shocked to find her increased in strength and power. In -fact, after removing the poison from Dan's body, she herself also gains in strength instead becoming weak. She cheats Lung, Yu and the Princess into believing that Dan has already died and leads them out of the Palace.
Knowing that Dan is dead, the Princess reveals her deep affection for Dan and she is in great grieve. Yuen sympathizes with her and grows gradually fond of her. Chi learns that No is partly responsible for the death of the Pak family. She promise to tell this to Yu on condition that he will become her follower. Surely Yu concedes to that and on knowing that he is. determined to avenge on No. Ever since Dan is miraculously made intelligent, he has been becoming more and more self-confident. He even volunteers to help the Emperor in solving the riddle put forth by a foreign prince. This helps him to win the trust of the Emperor and he becomes the Emperor's advisor. At first, he seems reluctant to serve the Emperor for fearing that his fellow tribesmen will be antagonized by that and later he thinks that being a high official in the court can bring honor to his tribe.
The Princess is delighted to see Dan again and tells him of her affection for him. However, Ian holds no special feelings for her and this makes the Princess very disappointed. Yuen wants to make use of this chance to win the heart of the Princess. Yet the Princess cannot drive Len out of her mind and Yuen feels handicapped in this. Dan gradually grows proud of his own intelligence and appears arrogant. Enmity develops between him and the other court officials. The ESeneror's mother does not like Dan who intrvgues with Chi to win her trust. In the end, the Emperor's mother hates him no more and even arranges the Princess to marry him. However? Dan wittily refuses the kind offer of the Emperor's mother. This brings much shame to the Princess. At that time, the Emperor's uncle consoles his daughter and the two grow close as before.
The Emperor's uncle is found to be involved inn case of embezzlement. However, he seeks help from Lo Tso who helps to prove his innocence. This arouses his anger towards Dan who charges him of such crime. Added to this is his jealousy which drives him to cooperate with lo Teo. The two intrigue against Dan who eventually loses all the trust from the Emperor who is made to believe that Ian is a traitor. At the same time, the Emperor seems to know that Chi is a female and tries whatever means to reveal her true identity but fails. Gradually he grows fond of Chi and wants to make her the queen. Yet his uncle tells his mother that Chi has been brought up in a brothel and this arouses great opposition from the Emperor's mother. Their dream of getting married shatters and they feel very disappointed.
The Princess overhears the conversation between her father and Lo Tso who are intriguing against Den. She wants to warn Dan in advance but is stopped by her father. In the end, she asks Lung and Lo to save Dan from danger. The news of Dan in danger causes Madam Butterfly much worry and she leaves the Palace to look for Dan. When Dan becomes an ordinary citizen again, he masses the comfortable and luxurious life at the court. He finds fault with everything. Later he listens to the advice from Lung and Lo, turning full attention to practicing his martial arts. Gradually, he becomes humbler and this brings great consolation to Lung and Lo. Dan's father learns the plight of Dan and is anxious about him. Some of them leaves Mo Kai to find his whereabouts. Kum has been wandering for some time and runs into poverty. Eventually she becomes a prostitute and there in the brothel she meets Yu and is attracted by him.
Kum is attracted by Yule appearance and character and grows very fond of him. She tells him how she is being ill-treated by Dan. This arouses Yu's sympathy for her. It just happens that Dan is at one time hiding in the brothel to avoid being caught by the Emperor's men. There he meets Kum who vents all her angry feelings towards him. Madam Butterfly goes to the house of the Emperor's uncle to look for Dan but is caught and forced to marry the Emperor's uncle. Dan also goes there to find evidence to prove his innocence. There he meets and saves Madam Butterfly from her plight. Because of some misunderstanding, Dan is treating Madam Butterfly coldly. Yu acts as a go-between and the two become close again.
Yuen is involved in the charge against Dan being a traitor. He is made prisoner but with the help of the Princess, he is set free later. Yuen is eager to revive his family name and practicing his martial arts very hard with the mysterious man. Yet he gets himself wounded. Hut for the medical help from Chi, he would have been in great danger. The Princess pities Yuen and gradually grows fond of them. She asks him to get a job in the court and forget about the business of reviving his family name. Hut Yuen refuses and he ask. to become the disciple of Lung, Lo, and Mo hoping to become the most skilled martial hero of all. Yu meets No and tries to kill him. Mo refuses to admit responsibility of the murder of his family and even proposes to take him as his disciple.
Kum meets Yu again and finds that he has broken with Dan. The two find themselves in the same boat and decides to join hands against Dan. Dan wants to get the help of Chi's sister in his fight against In Tso. However, she is still under control of Lo Tso and could not offer any help. From her, Dan learns that Caw is kept prisoner at Lo Note place and he wants to save her but is stopped by Chi. Caw is sent by Lo Too to steal the imperial seal and she overheads the Emperor's decision to catch Dan. She and Chi's sister both try to prove Dan's innocence. In the end, the Emperor knows that it is only Lo Tso and his uncle who are wicked. So he looks for Dan and wants him to join hands in his fight against them.
Madam Butterfly finds herself being poisoned and her days are numbered. Even Chi can do nothing to help her. Dan wants to take her as his wife as soon as possible and this touches her very much. All along Dan believes that the murders of the big families have nothing to do with Madam Butterfly and he wants to carry out . investigations to prove her innocence. Upon examination, Chi discovers a pin in the head of the corpses and they think that those families are murdered by Lo Tso. However, Chun insists that they are killed by Madam Butterfly. The mysterious man has once suggested to Yuen that he can use some tricks to gain much progress in his martial arts. Yet that may bring harm to his masters. Therefore, Yuen refuses to do that even though she is eager to become skilled in his arts.
Lung, Lo and Mo gather in Yuen's house. Yuen hurries back home to prevent them from being harmed. Be even tells them why he wants to become their disciple. Mo gets crossed and wants to be punish him but is stopped by Chun who then reveals his identity as a very skilled martial hero. In his past, he has been doing a lot of evil. His enemies once try to kill him and he is in great danger. Yuen's father saves him and since then he decides to reform and works in the Yuen's family faithfully. After Yuen's father has disappeared, Chun decides to help Yuen revive his family name. He disguises himself as the people of the Butterfly Palace end kills the other three renowned families. Learning this, Yuen leaves the house angrily. Later, he meets the Princess who is sad and disillusioned at the marriage between Dan and Madam Butterfly. They sympathize with each other and decide to escape from all these disputes and conflicts.
Lo Teo kidnaps- Madam Butterfly in order to threaten Dan to surrender. Dan goes to save his wife and finds Caw taken prisoner at Lo Teo's place. He intends to release her and yet when she learns of his marriage with Madam Butterfly, she refuses to see him anymore. The Emperor's uncle is also antagonized at the marriage and decides to kill Dan. However, at the most critical moment, Madam Butterfly regains all her strength and defeat3 Lo Teo burying him under the rooks. Caw wanders alone and runs into Dan's family who then learns of Den's adventures. Also they pities Caw and promises to look after her.
Lo Teo is looked in the cave and he spends all his time practicing his skills. Later, he discovers that the Emperor's uncle is all along using him as a tool for revenge. Nevertheless, he still works for him because of the monetary gains. - Wei goes to Chi and asks her about Dan: However, she refuses to tell them mistaking him as someone working for the Emperor's uncle. The Chin tribesmen are eager to revive the Ching Dynasty. So they urge Wei to join hands with the Emperor's uncle to dethrone the Emperor. Chi's sister persuades Lo Tso to surrender to the Emperor and then retire into hermitage. However, the Emperor does not trust him and this makes Lo Teo very angry. Both the Emperor end his mother are attacked by men sent by the Emperor's uncle. Luckily both assassinations are averted by Madam Butterfly and Dan who gets hurt as a result.
Madam Butterfly is being chased and she hides herself in the house of Yuen and the Princess. Yuen takes good care of her and cures her of her wounds. 'this arouses the Princess' jealousy and she leaves in anger. Gradually, Yuen grows fond of Madam Butterfly who refuses his love for her. However, she stays behind hoping to find out more about Yuen's secrets. Yu forces Chun to admit his wrong deeds in public. He challenges him in a duel but he is no match for Chun who eventually escapes. Yu feels hopeless and disillusioned but Kum encourages him and urges him to go to No Kai to find . the precious sword and learn the skill. Then he will be in position to defeat Chun. By accident, Kum discovers the hiding place of Yuen and Madam Butterfly. The fire of revenge starts burning in her heart and she tricks them into believing that Madam Butterfly is unfaithful to Dan……
Madam Butterfly and Yuen go into the imperial city to look for Dan. They meet Chun who tells them that Dan is dead already. Madam Butterfly is so shocked that she fainted. Chun uses much of his strength to save her in order to impress Yuen who remains untouched. Yuen grows more and more attached to Madam Butterfly who keeps refusing his love and the two struggle hard to get out of the tangle. By chance, Yuen meets his father on the street but finds him behaving strangely. He follows him and finds him sneaking into the General's house and trying to kill the General. His father even wants to get rid of him fearing that he will disclose his crime. This greatly shocks Yuen. In fact, Dan only lies to the people that he is dead, since he likes to hide from his enemies and wait till he is fully recovered. Madam Butterfly and Dan meet again. She feels very uneasy about her being unfaithful to Dan and she leaves him in grieve. Dan suspects the ……
In fact, the Ching tribeemen, the Emperor's uncle and Lo Tso are accomplices. They cooperate in order to dethrone the present Emperor and they start their plan by killing the court officials. Even though Wei prefers the peaceful life at Mo Kai, his fellow tribesme4nnsist on reviving the Ching Dynasty. Wei cannot help but to comply, with them. By accident, Dan meets his fellow tribesmen and he tries to convince them that the present Emperor is a good and wise ruler. He suggests to them not to dethrone him but go back to Mo Kai and enjoy the life there. Nevertheless, his fellows- thin]- that he is bought by the high post at court and monetary gains. Not only do they refuse to listen to him, they even lock him up. Yuen saves his father and brings him home trying whatever means to revive his memory. Lo Tso exerts his control over his father and force him to be his accomplice. Madam Butterfly returns to the Palace and finds it much changed……
Dan's mother arranges Dan to meet Caw again. Both of them feel very embarrassed. Caw happens to learn that Lo Tso intends to assassinate Dan and she hurries to save him. However, the two of them are no match for Lo Tso. Dan is defeated and lose: his consciousness. Madam Butterfly appears just in time to save them. To avoid Dan rekindling his passion for her, she leaves before he regains his consciousness asking Caw not to mention a word about her. Yu reaches Mo Kai and discovers the precious sword as well as the book containing the skills of martial arts. Then he turns his full attention to make himself the best swordsman. –
Caw feels that Dan still has special feelings for Madam Butterfly and .he persuades her to return to Dan's side. However, Madam Butterfly feels guilty of being unfaithful to Dan and tries her best to avoid him. This brings grieve to both of them. Though reluctant, Wei leads his tribesmen to assassinate the Emperor. Hut the plot falls through and they are to be executed. Ian hurries to implore the Emperor to forgive his father and fellow tribesmen even offering to sacrifice his own life for them. The Emperor is touched by his act and forgive the Ching tribesmen. The Emperor now gets hold of evidence concerning the treacherous act of his uncle and Yuen. He orders the two to be executed. However, the Princess begs forgiveness for them. In the end, her father is made an ordinary citizen and later becomes a beggar. Yuen, feeling disappointed and disillusioned, reveals his relationship with Madam Butterfly……

He sets off to avenge on Chun. Yu is very disappointed at finding Chun dead. In fact, Chun kills himself as he feels guilty of his sots. As Yuen tries to protect Chun's corpse, he and Yu have a fierce fight and he is hurt seriously. Madam Butterfly arrives on the scene just in time to prevent him from being killed by Yu.
