In an episode inspired by Transformers: Age of Extinction, the designers are asked to design a personal emblem and then split into teams to fully rebuild Chevy Impalas for an epic Autobot challenge. Transformers master mechanic and fabricator Trevor Mann visits as guest judge.
The search for the first Motor City Master continues! Eight remaining designers head to the coast to test out their airbrushing skills before picking teams to take on the challenge to transform a Silverado into the ultimate beach vehicle. Pro surfer Malia Jones serves as guest judge.
Tasked with impressing guest judge Felix Holst, the vice president of design for the Mattel Hot Wheels Division, the remaining designers are challenged to create their very own Chevy Impala spoilers inspired by Hot Wheels. They then are tasked to create jaw-dropping life-sized Hot Wheels cars. Brooke Burns hosts and Jean Jennings and Harald Belker serve as judges.
The remaining designers must sketch a vehicle design inspired by various professional sports. Guest judge and two-time World Series champion and three-time All-Star David Justice is on hand to critique the next challenge of creating the ultimate truck for sports fans based on the Chevy Suburban. First up, the remaining designers will try to reinvent the wheel-the steering wheel that is- using golf carts as their test vehicles. Then they must turn the Chevy Traverse into the perfect vehicle for a working mom, with veteran TV star, producer and mother Melissa Joan-Hart surveying each car as guest judge. Brooke Burns hosts and Jean Jennings and Harald Belker serve as judges.
The remaining designers find the need for speed as they craft a computer rendering of a new vehicle inspired by General Motor's SS model racecar used in NASCAR. With NASCAR alum Robby Gordon as guest judge, they are then challenged to turn a Chevy SS into a NASCAR racing machine. Brooke Burns hosts and Jean Jennings and Harald Belker serve as judges.

In Part 1 of the finale, the three remaining competitors are tasked with the using the 2014 Chevy Camaro as a canvas to create a new clay model Camaro show car for the next generation. Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz serves as guest judge. Brooke Burns hosts and Jean Jennings and Harald Belker serve as judges.
The final two competitors must transform their clay Camaro models into full scale, world-class Chevy Camaros. GM vice president of global design Edward T. Welburn Jr. serves as guest judge.
