Night Man (1997)
Night Man is an American action/adventure/sci-fi series that aired in syndication from September 15, 1997 to May 17, 1999. The series is loosely based on a comic book published by Malibu Comics and was created by Steve Englehart and developed for television by Glen A. Larson. It stars Matt McColm as the title character, a superhero whose real name was Johnny Domino, a saxophonist. Englehart would write three episodes of the series. Night Man is also one of the few series to cross over with characters from Larson's previous series: in the episode "Manimal", Johnny allies with Professor Jonathan Chase, the star of the short-lived 1980s' series Manimal.

Season 2:
After being struck by the fatal lightning storm a year before, computer genius Kieran Keyes created a living internet called the Ultraweb. After discovering the true identity of NightMan, Keyes lures Johnny's father Frank Dominus into the Ultraweb, ultimately creating a showdown between father and son - Dominus only knowing NightMan as Bay City's masked vigilante. NightMan threatens to put Keyes out permanently if he doesn't spare Frank's life and release him from the Ultraweb's confines. Keyes agrees to send Frank back, killing him in the process. NightMan makes a new archenemy.
Johnny Domino teams up with another of Dr Walton's patients, Trudy Thorpe, who needs his assistance in preventing the crooked Dr. Winslow Sutton from resurrecting the evil magician Barzun from the dead. Sutton's hope is to unite him with his daughter, and his wife Lucy so that they may all work together to take over the world by resurrecting more of the undead to serve as the new unhuman race. While battling Barzun's dark magic, Johnny/NightMan learns that he's a ""chosen one"" and that the lightning strike was no accident.
Night Man accidentally resurrects a mummified Egyptian queen, with predictably disastrous results. Queen Neftalah is on a quest for eternal life and supreme power.

Briony, Johnny and Raleigh recall past singers and events surrounding them, hoping to piece together a suspect. When things get nearly hopeless, Jasmine return to The House of Soul, but acting differently. Raleigh discovers she's really Keyes' henchwoman, Ally, who has used Ultraweb technology to disguise herself as Jasmine.
