Season 1:
Mack Rides in Waldkirch, where carriages and rides have been built since 1780. No one in the Mack family could have suspected that a flight to the USA would end up spawning the idea of their own park.
After a successful start, Europa-Park plans to expand. Ulrich Damrau is invited to be the designer for the themed areas, but this creates internal disputes...
Europa-Park opens up further themed areas and attractions, while the entertainment department becomes the flagship.
From the mid 1990s, not only do fantastic new rides appear in Rust, but also the implementation of a risky idea.
Two further hotels ensure that the growing number of guests experience the best and most-varied accommodation. Thomas Mack establishes himself with the new hotel Bell Rock and a new, unique restaurant. Michael Mack too initiates his first big project: a rollercoaster that is second to none! But a stroke of fate in the family marks the end of an era.
The combination of virtual reality with traditional rides is becoming the park's trademark and cementing its success. The gigantic water world Rulantica is opened.
