Season 5:
When Ayush asks his father for an electric scooter, his request is denied, but when Khushi asks, she is given one right away. Upset by this, Ayush is hurt even more when Khushi jokingly remarks that their father loves him less because he's adopted. Deeply saddened, Ayush decides to leave home.
Pappu doesn't attempt to stop Ayush, believing he will return in a few days. However, Ayush's departure unexpectedly triggers financial troubles for Pappu, contrary to what he had anticipated.
Ayush's absence leads to increased household expenses, leaving Pappu struggling with unexpected financial challenges. In a bid to resolve the situation, he turns to Jolly, and together they attempt to bring Ayush back home.
Pappu planned a family trip to a resort for a long weekend, but they canceled it to join a donation drive where they could perform in a Natak. The family chose to stage 'Mughal-e-Azam,' and Pappu brought in a director to help, securing his services for free.
Bhansali's demands while directing modern 'Mughal-E-Azam', become more elaborate. Pappu, frustrated but eager to move forward, reluctantly agrees to all of them, leading to mounting production costs he had expected to avoid.
