George and the Dragon is a British situation comedy made by ATV for the ITV network which was transmitted in four series comprising 26 episodes between 19 November 1966 and 31 October 1968. The regular cast is Sid James, Peggy Mount, John Le Mesurier and Keith Marsh and was written by Harry Driver and Vince Powell. Shaun O'Riordan was the director, while Alan Tarrant was the main producer.

Season 4:
It's Gabrielle's birthday, and she discovers both a birthday card from Sid and an expensive milk stole. But the latter actually belongs to a woman George brought home from a party the night before...
Both Gabrielle and George decide to take out life insurance policies, but misunderstands a call from the examining doctor and thinks George is dying.
The Colonel thinks the new gardener is in love with Gabrielle.
George falls in love and proposes -- but plans to elope to avoid the young lady's disapproving father.
