Season 1:
Series premiere about the everyday life of a housewife in Dayton, Ohio. In the opening episode, Maggie receives a note from school accusing her 8-year-old son of "borderline obscenity."
Maggie babysits for a friend in hopes of coming up with enough money to cover Mark's braces, but the girl is not the angel Maggie is led to believe.
Len considers a career switch after learning that a former colleague has struck it rich outside the teaching profession.
The girls goad Maggie into throwing a birthday party for Bruce, but Buffy's diamond ring winds up in an unlikely place during the event.
Maggie and her husband Len, on their way to a marriage encounter session, make a wrong turn and wind up stranded when the car runs out of gas.
