Don't Forget To Write! (1977)
Don’t Forget to Write! is a British television sitcom, broadcast by the BBC from 1977 to 1979. The central character is George Maple (George Cole) who was formerly a successful playwright, but is now procrastinating, lacking self-confidence and suffering from writer's block. He is seen at home with his supportive wife Mabel (Gwen Watford), son Wilfred (Ron Emslie) and daughter Kate (Claire Walker). They are frequently visited by neighbour Tom Lawrence (Francis Matthews) who is a confident, suave and successful playwright and cleaner Mrs Field (Daphne Heard).

Season 2:
Gordon struggles to complete a film script about Adolf Hitler.
A script conference at Gordon's house. He devises a plot for Mabel to bring him food without having to feed the others.
One of Gordon's old plays is to be shown on TV. He tries to hide the fact from everyone else, but watch it secretly himself.
Gordon finds himself being aggressively pursued by an intense lady agent in search of a new client.
At 3 a.m. a paranoid Gordon decides he has lost his inspiration forever. His family spends a troubled night. Later that morning he makes a bonfire of all his works.
With Mabel immobile in a surgical collar, Gordon organizes Christmas dinner.
