There's something different about a new teacher in the school - Mr. Batrachian. He wears a brown leather suit and his eyes bulge out permanently while his tongue is always long and slimy. All the kids like their new teacher except for Joey and Nate who want to know the truth about the man. They know that he's mean. They know that he's creepy. And they know that sixth-graders are his favourite snack.
Hating the disgusting cafeteria food at Edgar Allan Poe High School, Fitz refuses to eat it, even when Miss Buggy takes over, and when his voracious classmates start fighting for seconds, he knows something weird is happening.
