In Algeria, Antoine de Maximy's journey begins in the mountains of the great Kabylie, above Tizi Ouzou. He randomly chooses a small hilltop village and wanders through the alleys. On the central square. Daoud, a retired engineer, immediately agrees to welcome him into his small house with a breathtaking view. The next day he attends the Mouloud festival, the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet, around a tomb. All the women of the region are there with their multi-colored outfits.
