Season 2:
It's the first episode of The Katering Show Series 2 and the Kates are not coping with the pressure. Battling nervous breakdowns, they try to negotiate everyone's high expectations by creating an on-trend pop-up Ramen bar.
The Kates don teething necklaces and use their position as "New Celebrity Mums" to work through some postnatal traumas and create two recipes that take the terms "Yummy Mummy" way, way too literally.
McLennan has found a cure for McCartney's debilitating lactose intolerance. To celebrate, McLennan makes a cheese feast stuffed with dairy loaded puns and delusion; afflictions that, unfortunately, have no known cure.
McCartney and McLennan subject themselves, and a very special guest, to the latest diet torture regimes; paleo, raw food and the 5:2 diet. But which of the trio will discover the bikini body lurking deep inside?
McLennan and McCartney embrace the food philosophy of their culinary hero, Maggie Beer. The over-worked women commit a whole day to making a lamb shoulder and peddling their own verjuice substitute; Dianaberry Juice.
McCartney and McLennan create canapes for a viewer's sit down beach wedding. But when the women hit the champagne, they dish up the bride some truths that, just like wedding canapes, are served hard and cold.
McLennan and McCartney invite comedian and star of The Daily Show (USA), Ronny Chieng, into the The Katering Show kitchen. Threatened by a competent, likeable actual celebrity, McLennan heads towards DEFCON 1.
