Fist of the Blue Sky (2006)
Shanghai in the 1930s is a dangerous place. Foreign governments and Chinese factions have carved the city into different quarters, each with its own laws and government, and all rife with corruption. As the major powers vie for political control, the streets are left to local gangs. Life is cheap, and death is always near. In days past, one man walked these mean streets battling the forces of evil. He was known only as Yan Wang, "the King of Death." Few knew who he really was, but many knew that he was a master of Hokuto Shinken - Fist of the North Star - a lethal martial art. He disappeared years ago after dispatching the city's worst gangsters, and is now rumored to be in Japan. Various people have come to Japan in search of him, but who will find him first?

Season 2:
The year is 193X. The world is in a terrible conflict and it seems that only able to stop it is the 62nd successor of the Divine Fist of the North Star, Kasumi Kenshiro
Kenshiro confronts Fei-yan, believing it was him who killed Guise, but he will soon discover that it is far from the truth
Fei-yan is aware that he has little time left to live, so he will do whatever it takes to ensure Erika's wellness
The problem of Fei-yan and Erika seems to be solved by now, but it has not yet been clarified who killed Guise, so they will have to look for more evidence
Fei-yan has found the man responsible for the murder of Guise. The problem is that it is a deadly rival who dominates a deadly fighting style.
Guise's assassin threatens the life of Fei-yan, but fortunately Kenshiro appears to stop the murder of his friend and face a tough rival
Yasaka is determined to put an end to everything that matters to the Fist of the North Star, but in exchange for that he will discover a vital aspect about his past and his great resentment.
Finally Yasaka has discovered the serious mistake he has made for a long time. Yet, that will not stop Kenshiro and him from measuring their strength to end it all.
"Glowing fists...?" Based on the burn marks left on Guise's body, Kenshiro, Ye, Zi-Ying, and Yasaka arrive at one answer when discussing who killed him. On a hill near the church, Erika is praying over Fei-Yan's grave. Yasaka approaches to ask for her forgiveness. When she sees the glowing jewels dangling around his neck, she reveals their surprising past. Meanwhile, Kenshiro's surroundings suddenly grow dark with the color of the Nahash people...
Seated in the throne of the ruins of Nohal Naha, Erika's memories are awakened by the jewels. The plans for the nuclear fission device are projected and slowly drawn onto the parchment Kenshin gazes down upon... Hearing Erika's heart-rending request to end her life, Kenshiro gently touches a pressure point on Erika's forehead. A single tear falls from Kenshiro's eyes. "I'll protect the smile of the girl I see in front of me. That's a plenty good reason to fight." His final battle as the 62nd successor to the Divine Fist of the North Star has finally begun.
