Season 1:
Morra was orphaned and had a difficult childhood. Now, she is married to an unemployed man. She meets someone who offers him a profitable job.
Morra goes to the wedding of her ex to harass him and ends up getting arrested. In the meantime, El-Khawaga presents Shehata with a bizarre proposal. When Morra gets back home, she is in for a tragic and bloody surprise.
Turns out Morra faked her children’s death after she agreed to sell them to El-Khawaga for money. She flees the village after she kills her husband, Shehata.
Morra goes to Alexandria with the money and lives in a small hotel owned by a lady named Doreya. She meets Sultan who works as a taxi driver as he struggles to get back the land that his uncle had stolen from his late father.
Sultan is arrested at a checkpoint and goes downtown. Morra meets a man from her village who follows her to learn where she is staying but she eludes him. Doreya suspects her mysterious character. When Sultan is released, he proposes to Morra.
Morra gets closer to Sultan and suggests they partner up to open a restaurant on the land he inherited. His uncle and his son try to stop this partnership. Morra lends Hanan money for her husband’s surgery. The restaurant collapses due to an earthquake with Sultan inside.
After losing everything with the restaurant, Morra works as a maid at Doreya’s. Fathi sells their apartment to pay Morra back and moves with Hanan to Cairo. A police investigator asks about Morra at the hotel, and they tell him that she isn't living there anymore. El- Khawaga visits Doreya.
Doreya wants to buy an infant from El-Khawaga. When Morra overhears them, she spills a drink on his jacket to steal his house keys. She later breaks into his house, learns where he sent her children and takes the money that she believes is her due. She gets a new identity and reports Doreya.
Morra moves to Cairo and marries Tariq Altamimi, a successful businessman. In 2012, his two daughters, one of whom is actually Morra’s, do not get along with her at all despite the years they have lived together.
Morra sees a therapist, Reyad, for ulterior motives and meets Gamila, his daughter. Tariq faces some serious business problems. Kareem gets hired at Altamimi’s company. Dina finds ominous spellwork in her room and her father’s.
Dina fights with Tariq over the spellwork she found and storms out of the house. She hits someone as she drives away in tears. Morra cuts a deal with the victim’s family to pay them half a million pounds if they drop the charges. Gamila tells her father that she met Morra at a concert.
Tariq competes with El-Halwagy over a business tender. Naima blackmails Morra into working at her orphanage, which is a facade for a “business” Morra is starting as she doesn’t register some of the orphaned kids. Dina falls for the son of her father’s lawyer.
Morra is determined to sabotage the budding romance between Dina and Ahmed. She finds some financial inconsistencies at her orphanage and threatens her accountant. Rana and Karim grow a bit closer after the argument they had, and she starts to like him.
Tariq tells his family about the imminent financial crisis. Morra suggests an illegal action to avoid bankruptcy and he firmly rejects it. Morra’s therapist confronts her with her lies, so she shocks him with the truth about his daughter. She sells an infant to a powerful government official.
Reyad is shocked that Morra knows the truth about his daughter, Gamila. Karim tells Rana that he likes her. A face from Morra’s past shows up at the orphanage, asking to meet her.
Abd al-Azim blackmails Morra. Karim tells his parents about Rana. Tariq wins the tender, and El-Halwagy tries to find any mistakes to hold against him to seize the project from him.
Morra gets rid of Abd al-Azim. She tries to seduce Reyad, and sabotage Ahmed & Dina’s relationship. She asks her mole in Tariq’s company to find any mistakes to hold against him.
Tariq assigns Karim to a project secretly and tells Morra that he asked for Rana’s hand which upsets her. Gamila meets Morra to tell her that Reyad has fallen for her. Karim takes his parents to Tariq’s home to propose to Rana, and Morra is surprised to discover that they are Fathi and Hanan.
Morra rejects Karim’s proposal and threatens Tariq with divorce if he insists on this marriage. Nabil’s wife meets Dina to tell her to stay away from Ahmed. Tariq follows a lead on Reyad. El-Halwagy finds out that Morra is married to Tariq.
Tariq suspects that Morra is having an affair with Reyad. Nabil discovers that Emad is the one to set his son up. Morra visits Hanan at her house and threatens her to make Karim stay away from Rana. El-Halwagy meets Morra, and asks her to help him get rid of Tariq’s competition.
Morra agrees to help El- Halwagy in return for a cut from his profits from the project. Tariq tells Morra that he met Reyad who told him she was depressed and suicidal. Morra plots with her mole, Ezat, to get a file that can make Tariq lose the project.
Gamila tells Morra to stay away from her father. Ezat tries to sabotage Karim and Tariq’s relationship and learns that Karim has the file he was supposed to give to Morra. Dina learns that Morra defamed her, and sabotaged her relationship with Ahmed.
Morra threatens to harm Emad if he slips. Reyad quarrels with Morra and tells her to stay away from him and his daughter. Karim accidentally finds out about Morra and Ezat's plot to destroy Tariq. Dina tells Rana what she found out.
Morra offers Karim 10 million pounds in return for the file and recordings. El-Halwagy decides to get rid of Karim and sends gunmen to shoot him. Tariq reveals to Morra that he has a heart condition, and he wants to write all his wealth over to her and his daughters.
Ahmed takes the shot instead of Karim. El-Halwagy is infuriated about the mess-up and doesn't believe Morra when she tells him that Ahmed is his son. When Morra visits Ahmed at the hospital, she finds Karim there, and he tells her he wants 25 million pounds. Tariq has a big surprise for Morra.
Turns out Karim told Tariq everything, and he exposes her before the girls. Morra is arrested which freaks El-Halwagy out. Morra denies all charges. Tariq leaves the project to Karim and liquidates the company.
Karim and Rana decide to get married. El-Halwagy visits Ahmed in hospital. Morra finds her way around the prison and manages to get hold of a cell phone. She calls Emad and makes a deal with him.
Karim lands a job opportunity abroad. Emad tells Nabil that Morra wants to see him. When he meets her, she tells him she is Ahmed’s real mother, so he gets her out of jail. She later tells Tariq she wants 30 million pounds or she will tell Rana that she is her real mother.
Morra blackmails Reyad to stay silent about Gamila, so he tells Gamila the whole truth about Morra being her mother. El-Halwagy tells Ahmed that he is his real father. Gamila goes to Tariq’s and meets Rana and Ahmed. The police find the link between Morra and Abd Al-Azeem.
Some time passes. A journalist visits Morra in jail after she survives an incident. She tells him her life’s story, and how she chose money over her children even when they went to see her. She is sentenced to death.
