Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious (2019)
There is a popular saying: "you can never be too careful." It is very important to prepare for every situation you may face, even if it seems like an unnecessary waste of time. Also, in games like RPGs, it is good to exceed the level of your enemies to achieve total victory. These words describe Seiya Ryuuguuin a little too perfectly. After being summoned by the goddess Ristarte to save the world of Gaeabrande from destruction, the hero prepares himself for his noble journey. While this might be normal, he spends a very long time training himself, despite having overpowered stats. He fights weak enemies using his strongest skills and buys excessive amounts of supplies and potions—all to stay safe. While his attitude may be a bit annoying, it might just be the saving grace of Gaeabrande, especially considering that it is a world where the forces of evil dominate each and every expectation.

Season 1:
A goddess named Ristarte is given the task of saving a world with an S-ranked difficulty level. She summons her champion, a man named Seiya, whose abilities are off the charts, but whose overly-cautious personality may give her second thoughts.
Chaos Machina proves too much for Seiya and Rista, and they retreat back to the Unified Divine Realm. However, when Machina takes the entire town hostage, the pressure is on to come up with a way to stop her before more people get hurt.
After Rista and Seiya retreat once again to the Divine Realm, Aria proposes that Seiya train under the tutelage of one of the Gods there. A looming crisis on Gaeabrande compels the pair to return, and seek out companions to aid them in their quest.
With a massive undead army approaching, Seiya dismisses any assistance from Mash, who does not take kindly to the snub. However, when Mash later turns up missing, it is up to Seiya and the others to rescue him from the enemy's clutches.
Following Mash's recovery, Seiya agrees to allow him and Elulu join them on the adventure, but insists that they receive more training first. The pair offer to lead the party to a cave called the Dragons' Den, said to contain an ultimate weapon.
Elulu and the others are stunned that she is supposed to offer her life to become the ultimate weapon for defeating the Dragon Lord. The party reluctantly agree to go through with the ceremony, but trouble erupts when they have second thoughts.
A delegation of Roseguard Imperial Knights summons Seiya and the others to a nearby fortress, where a wing of demon houseflies is attacking from the air. Seiya offers his help, but when he butts heads with the knights' leader, things turn ugly.
Mash and Elulu demonstrate some new skills they picked up, and Aria is horrified to learn that Seiya is training with Mitis. Back on Gaeabrande, Rosalie has gone off to challenge the flies alone, and Seiya and company must go to her rescue.
Kilkapul summons a nightmarish reaper to eliminate Seiya and the others, and not even retreating to the Divine Realm is enough to stop its advance. After Mash and Elulu improve their skills, Rista resolves to step up her own game, as well.
With the last Heavenly King defeated, Rista, Mash and Elulu want to take some time to enjoy themselves, but Seiya has other ideas. After recovering, the Warmaster receives Seiya and company in the castle. Rosalie requests a favor of Seiya.
Rista, Mash and Elulu enjoy their day of shopping and strolling around town, but when Seiya fails to meet up with them later, they begin to worry. When Rista turns to Ishtar for help locating Seiya, she is met with a surprising revelation.
In violation of Divine Realm law, Rista opens a portal directly to the location of the final boss fight, where Seiya and the Demon Lord are locked in mortal combat. Seiya resolves himself to make the ultimate sacrifice to defeat the Demon Lord.
