Scrap Happy Daffy (1943)
During World War Two, Daffy Duck owns a junkyard which collects scrap metal to use in building weapons to continue the Allied fight against the Axis powers. Hitler reads about Daffy's scrap pile and about Daffy's stated intent to win the war with junk and, after throwing a fit and chewing a carpet like a mad dog, orders Daffy's scrap pile destroyed.

Maybe the propaganda elements of this - especially the "in to win" song - don't work so well nowadays, but otherwise "Daffy" is on great form reminding us that just about everything can be recycled for the war effort. When Hitler realises what the duck is up to and uses all of his resources (well, an hungry goat) to destroy the scrap it really becomes quite entertaining as "Daffy" tries to to thwart it's ambitions to eat all the junk up. Enter "Capt AmeriDuck"! "American's don't give up!"....
