This is a nice little comedy/drama about the dizzying, hectic life and times of the Turner family, as each member of the household goes their separate ways. Until kind, well-meaning Father is framed for embezzlement, that is. Here we have nice, appealing performances by the two leads, Lionel Barrymore and Fay Bainter. Slightly amateurish performances from some of the younger, wet-behind-the-ears members of the cast, though. On a better note, seeing Lionel play a nice guy always leaves one with a good feeling. A good family movie, with some funny moments. Makes for nice, pleasant viewing. Would I recommend? Yes, as a minor, but nice, family movie.
