Lots of fun moments in this one. End credits song is a hit with the kids.
I liked the first 2, and I understand that this is a film for kids, but it's really predictable at every turn. You see all the twists coming long before they actually hit and, even for a kids film, that sucks a lot of the life out of it.
Like its predecessors, surprisingly solid. I can say I actually got a relatively decent amount of enjoyment from 'Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation'. I don't actually rate the characters in these films all that much, aside from Dracula I can't honestly say I remembered any of the others from past installments (which I, admittedly, haven't watched since, like, 2018?). Despite that, the stories onscreen tend to be passable enough that I can watch them with ease. There are some bits that are a tad too slow, though for the most part it's a harmless enough 90 minutes that it is watchable. I just mentioned that I find the characters to be forgettable, the same can be said for the voice talent to be honest. Everyone puts in an OK performance, nothing that noteworthy but, again, the plot does enough that it's not a big deal. As for a cast standout... Adam Sandler, I guess. Eager to see if lightning can somehow strike a fourth time with 2022's 'Hotel Transylvania: Transformania'...
