Purdah is a really spectacular documentary. I think all too often indie documentaries go unseen by the majority of people, being overshadowed by the likes of the latest Avengers movie or others. But Purdah is a film with great heart that really captures the human spirit, better than the average Hollywood blockbuster in my opinion. If you aren't familiar with India or cricket, don't be scared off because this film is really about much more than that. This is a film about overcoming obstacles, tragedy, and resiliency. Purdah is truly a must-watch!
