How do you stop a dead man from killing in the future ? This is the story of Ajayan (VK Sreenivas), a failed writer, who turns up at a television show and announces that he is going to commit the perfect 7 murders in 7 days. He starts off by killing his first victim. The rest of the series finds an able police team, under DySP Jacob Anookkaran (Ashwin Kumar), trying to stop a well planned and immaculate series of murders

Jacob takes a break from his regular work and decides to travel back to Mottakkara, where it all started. In the past, we see a young Jacob, taking charge as the S.I. and making friends, enemies and hopes of love.
In the present, Jacob tries to find out more about the person who attacked him. In the past, a petty crime and the decisions made by Jacob, sets off the dominoes of death in the hill town.
The first death in the town, turns the locals against the police team. As Jacob and his men investigate the mystery, a new tragedy hits them.
The death of a much loved and respected colleague rips through the morale of the team. The investigation falters with little support from the locals. Jacob finds a new ally, who might be able to help them out.
The ongoing series of deaths confuses everyone. Is a bigger force at play here? Jacob and team investigate a new possibility.
Jacob and team are at loss trying to figure out who the next victim could be. Nothing and nowhere is safe, as the threat turns up at their doorstep.
Jacob makes one final attempt to trap the possible killers. But, in the process, someone close to him makes a decision, which proves fatal.
The Jacob of the present is finally able to understand the sequences that took place in his past. Will this prove to be the journey of his redemption? Then again, does Ajayan have a bigger plan?
