Season 1:
Emmy winner Wayne Brady kicks off his epic search for America’s first teen comedy sensation. Wayne chooses his final six to undergo a comedy boot camp based on the lessons learned throughout his iconic career.
The six teen comedians arrive at the Academy, where Wayne Brady has their work cut out for them. Their first challenge: learn guest mentor's Marcel Wilson's choreography and perform at a huge Hollywood birthday party.
Wayne Brady and Jonathan Mangum head up two teams in an improv battle at ComedySportz for their very own “Whose Line is it Anyway?” experience. One teen must face off in an improvised rap battle against Wayne Brady himself.
Wayne Brady and Jonathan Mangum team up with friend and collaborator Joel McCrary (Baldric from BYUtv's Dwight in Shining Armor) to challenge the kids to develop three unique characters. The teens are thrown for a loop when they must improvise in character.
Special guest comedian Lauren Pritchard helps the kids discover their “superpowers,” and how to work as a team to make each other look good. They present their sketches at Second City.
The teens work with YouTube sensation Epic Lloyd (Epic Rap Battles of History) to write and perform their own raps for a music video. Some rise to the challenge while others struggle to find their voice.
Wayne Brady brings legendary stand-up comedian Sinbad to help the young comics shape their three-minute sets for a live audience at the iconic Improv comedy club. One cast member is eliminated.
B-boy Flo Master gives the young comics a dance lesson and a challenge to create their own viral dances. With another elimination looming, the teens must use their knowledge of content creation to win over the online community.
Whose Line Is It, Anyway? star Colin Mocherie mentors the young comics as they face their biggest improv challenge yet. Two teens are eliminated, leaving only three into the finale.
The three finalists are put to the test in a one-of-a-kind performance at the acclaimed Upright Citizens Brigade theater in the heart of Los Angeles. The eliminated cast returns to help the finalists perform in their sketches for a packed house.
