Season 1:
30 year old Kiyoshi Adachi is an office worker who recently acquired the power to read people's minds through touch. He accidentally touches Yuichi Kurosawa, his most attractive co-worker, finding out that Yuichi is in love with Kiyoshi himself.
After missing the last train, Adachi stays over at Kurosawa's house. While Adachi is excited because he's had no prior experience with love, Kurosawa still keeps his attraction to himself and maintains an awkward atmosphere. Adachi seeks advice from his best friend, novelist Masato Tsuge.
After hearing the thoughts of Kurosawa, Adachi learns that his romantic feelings for him are genuine. The office goes drinking together at Rokkaku's invitation, and Adachi and Kurosawa suddenly find themselves much closer. Meanwhile, a courier arrives at Tsuge's house. When he opens the door, the unfriendly deliveryman Minato is standing there...
Two weeks have passed since the incident between Adachi and Kurosawa; Adachi gets desperate. While shopping with Fujisaki, Adachi is violently confronted, but is saved by a friend who reveals his true intentions.
While Kurosawa has trouble with a client, Adachi uses his power to help him for the first time. Adachi discovers some truths about Kurosawa which upset him.
Kurosawa takes care of Adachi, and decides to spend the night. Kurosawa begins to doubt his own feelings for Adachi. Tsuge takes desperate measures to meet the unfriendly courier.
