A Bitter Truth is Better Than a Sweet Lie
After days of practicing defense, San begins to get fed up and refuses to go to practice. When King asks Ka Yu to coach them on how to play offense, Ka Yu learns about their lies. However, soon after they discover the reason behind Ka Yu's coaching method, they rush to their usual spot to apologize to Ka Yu, but she's nowhere to be found.

As the tryout is drawing near, King gets edgy because he is still unable to jump high enough to get good downward spikes. When he runs into Chang Ka Yu, the former legendary spiker, he starts asking for her advice. Ka Yu, on the other hand, is stuck in her past, which makes her detest anything related to volleyball.
When Ka Yu agrees to coach them if they find a court, King does his best to find one only to fail after numerous attempts. To help Ka Yu step out of her past, Wong Kam suggests using the hall at the school he teaches in. However, when San screws things up, they are left with no place to go again. Ka Yu then takes them to a place that she has never set foot in since she quit the Hong Kong team.
While Ka Yu is searching for a new coach, the guys are recruiting new team members. Ka Yu comes across Small Fry, an amateur volleyball player in an unexpected incident, and invites him to join the team. As the registration for the Third Division League is closing, King wants to get Ka Yu's green light to submit the form and have her as their coach. However, Ka Yu gives them a surprise that leads to a conflict in the team.

The team participates in the Third Division League, looking to win the league title. However, things don't always turn out the way as expected. After suffering a crushing defeat in their first game, some of them are on the brink of giving up on volleyball. However, a simple reminder and words of encouragement fire up their spirit again.
After months of training, the guys made improvements, but there's still a lot to learn. Ka Yu makes them have a bottle-hitting contest, and King starts to get competitive when Small Fry does better than him. As King works on improving his skills, Small Fry is heartbroken to learn that his crush likes someone else.
San believes that he too can get a lead role in the team and play the position of a spiker. After learning that all the training that Ka Yu gives him is to have him act as a decoy, he loses his cool and gets into an argument with her. Ka Yu gives San a chance to prove himself through a friendly match, which gives San a new perspective of his role.
As the Third Division League is drawing near, Ka Yu arranges a training camp for the boys. After losing the first friendly match, Abbot blames himself for the defeat. Ka Yu comes up with a brilliant way to help Abbot overcomes his issue, but when others mock him for playing dirty, he has to be quick to decide on his next move.
Ka Yu wants the boys to train moderately in preparation for the game as the Third Division League is just around the corner. Bug, the girl that Small Fry has a crush on, is into Chun San. But there's more to the story behind Small Fry's hatred against Chun San. A fight breaks out during the first game, which puts two of the Little players get benched by Ka Yu.
Despite being suspended by Ka Yu, Small Fry and King continue to be at odds. On On tries to help them out, but it only makes things worse when Ka Yu disagrees with her method. After Little loses one of the games, Small Fry and King get into a fight with Fly High players. Despite being beaten up, that incident brings them closer and they finally understand what it means to be a team.
Little is set to play against Youth Legend in the last match of the Third Division League. Knowing that they might not win with their current game plan, Ka Yu decides to throw caution to the wind and pick one of the players in the team to play as the libero. When Little learns about Ka Yu's breakup with Marco, they decide to give Ka Yu a present to cheer her up.
After the Third Division League, Mr. Yuk wants to have Bobby join the Legend and believes that Bobby has a lot of potentials if he trains under him. Although Bobby hesitates and chooses to stay in Little for the sake of King and his teammates, Ka Yu believes Bobby should learn to decide for his own future. While the rumors of Bobby joining the Legend has been making the rounds, King is still kept in the dark as Bobby is afraid of how he will react to the news.
A reporter steals the video clips from San's phone and reports a false news story, which puts Ka Yu's career and Little's future at risk. To clear her name and the team's name, Ka Yu has to confront someone from her past, and she has to decide on her next move. Chris Two, on the other hand, is made the team's new setter, but the lack of teamwork is tearing them apart. Together, they have to learn to look forward and leave the past behind.
King continues to train hard to become a great spiker like his idol, Murilo Endes. But Ka Yu believes that King is more suited for another position. She tricks King into practicing as a libero, which gives King the wrong idea about their relationship. When one door closes for King, another opens, and it finally brings him to where he belongs.
An unexpected incident happens during practice and it leaves one of the Little players devastated. Ka Yu has to figure out a way to encourage her player, but she has to first overcome her fear and step out of her past. After seeing a an old clip from college, Ka Yu starts to act differently around Wong Kam.
After the hand injury, Small Fry is training to spike with his left hand. However, he refuses to heed Ka Yu's advice and is determined to stick to his own method. Ka Yu, on the other hand, is having a trouble of her own when she still fails to overcome her own fear. Together, King and the boys help her get through it, just like how she was there for them.
With the upcoming game against Flying Eagles, Little is experiencing the pre-game jitters before the competition. While Ka Yu figures out a way to help them, the boys throw down the gauntlet to Flying Eagles a day before the game. Small Fry, on the other hand, has to deal with his relationship and family problems.
After losing the first two rounds and with King injured, Little players lose their fighting spirit. But one of the Little players reminds them what it means to be a team. Together, they have to fight as a team to achieve their goal. Fast forward one year later, Ka Yu receives a letter that's going to change her life.
After graduation, the team starts to fall apart when each of them is living a different life and having to juggle career and volleyball. After their last game against Legend, some of Little players decide to quit the team. Broken-hearted, Ka Yu chooses to set out on a different journey. However, a video of Ka Yu's interview serves as a wake-up call to some.
After making a promise to Ka Yu that they'll play at the Presidents Cup, Little is faced with yet another hiccup when Coach Lou makes an underhanded attempt to get Little disqualified. King and the boys continue to keep their volleyball dream alive and prove themselves through their actions by sending out a message, "We are the Littles, but don't underestimate us!"
