Episode 5: A Friend of the Earth (Nov 06, 1998)
In this episode, botanist David Bellamy and Geoff's relatives recall his love of nature, and the strongly held beliefs which led him to campaign against chemical fertilisers and pesticides. Geoff's campaign to eradicate the garden use of peat, and stone from endangered limestone pavements, are also recalled. Narrated by Richard Briers.
