Season 1:
S Shankar is a struggling director at Bollywood with big dreams of making a successful movie with a gripping story. He meets the famous actress Amna Parvez and tries to give her his number. Will Amna contact him?
Shankar is on cloud nine when Amna calls him and asks him to meet with her to discuss his script. However, Shankar gets late for the meeting and Amna gives him a task as punishment.
Shankar learned at a very young age that he had to become successful to escape his past and also decided what he wanted to become. He came to Mumbai with the aspiration to become the best Director where he met Anju.
Amna keeps inviting Shankar to her home but he always refuses thinking of Anju. However, after Anju asks Shankar to give up his dream of becoming a Director, Shankar goes to Amna looking for support.
Shankar realises his mistake and decides to avoid Amna while the latter tries constantly to contact him. However, when all else fails, she goes to his home and pleads with him in desperation to come back to her.
Shankar manages to convince Jagmohan to let him release his next film in theatres. However, he learns that Jagmohan is also releasing his own big-budget movie on the same day. Is this the end of Shankar's career?
Shankar learns of Amna's suicide attempt and returns to her after learning that she has been diagnosed with Schizophrenia. This takes him away from his home and distances him from family. Will this take a toll on Shankar?
In the most desperate point of Shankar's life, when he is uncertain of what choice to make, life makes his decision for him. He finds out that Amna is delusional about the reality of her life. Find out the climax of Shankar's story.
