Season 1:
Ida starts studying psychology at Blindern. Ida is afraid of most things, but her greatest fear is terrorism. It doesn't get any better when she meets Aksel, who spends a lot of time online in incel forums.
Ida is charmed by Jonas, the delivery man, as she tries to find her place at Blindern. Meanwhile, Aksel wants her help with the exam. Ida is introduced to the idea of sleeping with an incel to prevent a terror attack.
To avoid Aksel, Ida flees to her father on Sørlandet. However, when she arrives, it turns out that there's a lot that Ida's father hasn't told her about his life.
Aksel begins to behave differently and suddenly breaks off contact with Ida. Siri is newly single and looking for a rebound, which gives Ida an idea that could benefit both Aksel and Siri.
Ida's fatal mistake with Aksel causes her significant problems, and she tries to keep her fears at bay by distracting herself with Jonas. But Aksel won't let her off the hook so easily.
The pressure on Ida increases and Aksel's influence on her life is about to destroy her relationship with Jonas. Ida turns to her mother for advice, but she proves to be little support.
Aksel prepares for the day that could change his life. Meanwhile, two police officers are investigating a case of assault against an unidentified young woman and the clues lead them to Ida's student apartment.
Ida desperately tries to get in touch with Aksel and turns to his mother in an attempt to find him. Soon Ida has to make an important choice. Is she going to let fear or reason prevail?
