Season 1:
Jane, an aspiring accountant, has passed the licensure exam and will be putting her skills to the test in Manila.
Alfred defends Jane against Klaire's that the newly hired employee should be fired.
Klaire confronts Jane as she begs her to keep quiet about her affair with another man.
Alfred discovers Klaire's affair with another man, and the latter blames Jane for revealing her dirty little secret.
Klaire faces criminal charges after killing her cheating husband and stabbing his mistress, but as the legal wife, she can invoke Article 247 of the Revised Penal Code.
Klaire prevails because she is no longer bound by her faults, whilst Jane bears the brunt of the former's actions.
Jane embarks on a new chapter in her life after returning to her hometown.
Jane stumbles across Noah, her college crush, but he isn't the gentle and sweet boy she recalled.
