Season 1:
Yu-mi is the only daughter of a poor family, but she gets everyone’s attention due to her exceptional beauty and talent. At the place where she finds work in order to make a living, she meets Hyun-joo, a woman who was born rich, and Yu-mi feels a sense of deprivation.
Yu-mi gets a job by using Hyun-joo’s university degree and even imitates the way Hyun-joo lives. After marrying a promising businessman named Ji-hoon, Yu-mi is satisfied with her life.
Yu-mi runs into Hyun-joo whom she had completely forgotten about. After that, Yu-mi lives every day in anxiousness. Meanwhile, Ji-won starts to get suspicious about Yu-mi’s past.
As Ji-hoon reaches closer to success, Yu-mi also receives the attention of the public. When Hyun-joo finds out Yu-mi stole her identity, Yu-mi’s cornered.
The relationship between Yu-mi and Ji-hoon worsen, and a scandal about Ji-hoon’s private life is exposed. Meanwhile, Yu-mi is confused about her identity while also feeling guilty toward Hyun-joo. She believes everything’s going wrong.
Since Yu-mi can’t be controlled anymore, Ji-hoon plans to send her to a place where she’s cut off from the rest of the world. Yu-mi finds out about Ji-hoon’s plan and she also tries to execute her own plan through Ji-won.
