Naniwa Danshi was in for a big surprise at their July 2021 concert when Johnnys' announced their big debut. In this documentary, we follow Naniwa Danshi's journey beginning in 2018, when they first got together. We explore the group's origins and follow the seven members as they work together to overcome challenges and achieve their dreams.
Naniwa Danshi performs in front of a live audience for the first time in a while during their nationwide tour. Daigo Nishihata, the group's center position, gets involved in planning the concert along with their producer Tadayoshi Ohkura. Nishihata shares how he wants to give each member of the group a chance to shine. The first night of their tour ends up being a huge success.
Naniwa Danshi celebrates Ryusei Onishi's 20th birthday at their concert at Osaka-Jo Hall. Onishi recalls his struggles to fit in when he first joined the group, and shares how he began to grow closer to the other members through his work creating the designs for their concert merchandise. We follow the members on their big day as they board a chartered flight to Tokyo and perform their debut song in a hangar at Haneda Airport. Later that night, we hear from the members as they reflect on the past three years and share their thoughts about where they are today.
