Season 1:
Lee Seo-jin approaches Shin Sung-han to be her representation in her divorce. Sung-han later meets with a central figure in the case.
Determined to win, Sung-han convinces Seo-jin to take her case to trial. Park Ae-ran struggles to contain her mother-in-law's belittlements.
Ae-ran approaches Sung-han for his services. Seo-jin attempts to settle on her next steps post-divorce. Later, Sung-han suffers from visions of the past.
Upon learning useful intel, Park Yu-seok schemes to antagonize Sung-han. Jang Hyeong-geun finds himself in a daze after receiving distressing news.
A new lawyer joins Sung-han's firm — but not without aggravating Sung-han first. Hyeong-geun springs into action after receiving an alarming call.
A figure from the past pays Sung-han a visit — leaving him rattled. Seo-jin begins consulting clients alone. Hyeong-geun says his final goodbye.
Jin Yeong-ju ups the ante in her war against Sung-han. Seo-jin panics after hearing shocking news about her client — but finds solace nearby.
Sung-han uses an opportunity to bolster one of his cases — but inconsistencies arise. Seo-jin considers returning to her old job.
After a challenging preparation, Sung-han makes an impressive move during trial. Choi Jun makes headway in his client's case — but causes a scene.
Sung-han takes on Ma Geum-hui's case. Seo-jin makes her long-awaited return to radio. Kim So-yeon and Hyeong-geun navigate their budding relationship.
Seo Gi-yeong pleads for help from Sung-han. Sung-han changes his mind about Geum-hui's case. Seo-jin receives good news about her career.
In an effort to protect Gi-yeong, Sung-han prepares for the final conflict with his in-laws. Meanwhile, Seo-jin contemplates a hard decision.
