Midnight Series: Midnight Motel (2022)
Mote works the night shift at a hotel earning money in order to pay off his debts. There, he gets to know sex worker Kat, stepping in when Kat gets into a violent altercation with her employer Sun. The pair of fuckups unexpectedly come together when they develop an idea for a sex work app to get out of debt. In order for their business to survive, they need to find an investor. This will ultimately lead them into a most dangerous case of murder.

Season 1:
Saddled with an enormous debt, Mote comes up with an idea for an app while drinking with sex worker Kat. Mote enlists his best friend Doy to code the app. Before long, the beta version is up and running.
Doy, Mote and Kat are trying to work out bugs and accelerate their earnings in their business when Kat meets investor Peerapat while working for Sun. She develops a plan to blackmail him but her efforts are thwarted by Mote who sees the risk she doesn't.
On the night investor Pat comes to hear Mote's pitch, Sun goes to Midnight Palace to investigate the goings-on. Doi's working at the front desk when he arrives and Sun targets him for information. Just when it looks like they've managed to pull through and investment funds are incoming, the worst comes to pass and Doi, Mote and Kat are left to clean up the mess.
June sends Jay to find Peerapat. Meanwhile, Big Off comes to collect a debt from Mote. Sun finds out Kat is doing business behind his back.
Mote and Kat must find Peerapat's body before Jay does so they can make a deal with June. Meanwhile, they must be careful when Sun betrays them.
Mote and Kat find out the truth about the murder. Everyone prepares to pull their last card to fight. How will their high-stake game play out?
