Season 1:
Madhav is a failed businessman. His friend, Deepak, suggests he visit the 18 Maha Shakthipeeths with his family. Meanwhile, Ranjith, an atheist and an author, chooses the same places as the backdrop for his next book.
Madhav's family arrives in Alampuram, where Ranjith asks for his help. Kanaga invites the group for dinner and a stay. Priya's irritation with Madhav's financial troubles increases.
Madhav's family and Ranjith travel to Pithapuram. Ranjith discovers the divine within while Madhav's fate becomes uncertain. Priya contemplates divorce if Madhav asks her father for help.
Madhav collects sacred soil from the Girija Devi temple. Ranjith learns about tribal beliefs, and Madhav apologises to Pranav. The group spends the night in Kolkata. Priya is shocked by a revelation.

Ranjith's encounter with a scientist sparks his interest in astrophysics and ancient wisdom. Madhav and Pranav meet an aghora. Priya searches for answers in Mahur as Madhav tries to reach her.
Revathi and Pranav have questions for their parents. Priya and Madhav cross paths and get back together when they learn about Ranjith's health. Ranjith encourages Madhav to visit Kanchi.
In Kanchi, Ranjith's selfless act leaves Priya and Madhav in awe. The family reconciles and travels to Sri Lanka, where Madhav immerses the sacred soil from all the 18 peeths in the ocean.
