Abanish lives a humdrum life with complicated personal equations and banal professional problems. His ordinary life takes an extraordinary turn when his wife suddenly goes missing, resulting in utter chaos that doesn't seem to end.
As the hope of Kumkum's return gradually fades, Abanish becomes uneasy with the situation. When Kanai suggests calling the police, Abanish panics.
The police come to the house in disguise on Abanish's request, but there is still no trace of Kumkum. Things turn worse when Abanish's crooked answers make the police suspect him.
The neighbours' insatiable curiosity about Kumkum annoys Abanish. When he visits an astrologer to get a clue on Kumkum's whereabouts, the police arrives with unexpected news.
After identifying her at the police station in the dark, the wife's strange behaviour makes Abanish a little anxious. But, in the morning, Abanish gets stunned by her sight.
As Abanish tries to interact with this unknown woman, Kumkum's parents rush in with disturbing news. Amid truth and lies, will Abanish be able to abandon her?
