The world of Ms. Wahiba (1998)
Taking place in Baghdad, the story follows the nurse Wahiba and her life in the Iraqi capital during the nineties, as it focuses on the suffering of the Iraqi people during that period of the economic embargo on Iraq.

Season 1:
Nassima sells bread to the residents of the building and she is married to the property keeper. Amira's father Othman beats her to force her to marry, but she refuses. While she is running away from him, she is run over by a car, and she suffers a brain hemorrhage, and Wahiba takes her to the hospital.
Othman is imprisoned for trying to kill his daughter, and Nawaf works for Tawfiq and wants his daughter, Enas, to leave school and work for him as well.
Abboud carries out a fraud operation, and the police arrest him. The officer interrogates Othman because his daughter is not registered in his name and for getting her married while she is a minor.
Othman's son threatens the doctor with a gun and asks him to withdraw his testimony against his father. Wessal runs her father's company with distinction. Fahima admonishes her husband, after his release from prison, for what he did to his daughter.
Wahiba takes Nawaf's wife and child to the hospital due to an accident, while Nawaf catches a criminal and tries to kill him, and someone shoots Abboud.
Tawfiq tries to get into a relationship with a woman because of his wife's illness, and Wahiba attends the birth of her friend and takes care of her.
Wahiba asks officials to filter the drinking water due to the increasing diseases due to water pollution, especially among children. Zahra fears that Tawfiq will marry another woman because of her illness. Abu Jamra is killed.
Faezeh's condition improves and she goes to visit Wahiba. Enas asks Zahra to quit her job, and Mahdi still keeps the body of Abu Jamra in the car.
Abboud quarrels with Jezaa, so he kills him, and Tawfiq asks Enas to return home, and she agrees.
Mahdi quarrels with his mother over the money he gave her. Abboud learns that his son is in the hospital, but he is still looking for Mahdi to take his money and during his search the police arrest him.
Amira asks Omar to register the marriage contract to guarantee her rights. Enas helps Zahra to walk and her condition improves a little, while Mahdi quarrels with Nawaf.
Mahdi suffers a heart attack and Wahiba calls for an ambulance, while the police are looking for him because of the money he took from Abboud. Nawaf quarrels with Enas.
As Amira asks her husband to register the marriage contract, especially since she is pregnant, he quarrels with her and refuses for fear of his first wife. Wahiba meets Enas and tells her that Mahdi takes drugs.
Nawaf dies and Mahdi rejoices as he goes to console his mother. As Wessal and her mother go to Amira's house, they learn that she is pregnant, so they get angry and Amira kicks them out.
Enas tells Zahra that Tawfiq wanted to have a relationship with her, but she refused, during an interrogation by the police because of her brother Mahdi's theft of gold from Tawfiq's house
As Mahdi flees with his friend Alaa from the police, he dies while the police get Tawfiq's gold chest.
Amira dies of a heart attack, especially since she is pregnant at a young age, and her mother mourns a lot. Mahdi dies, and Enas grieves over her brother. Tawfiq recovers the gold that was stolen from him from the police station.
