Dave and Jenny travel to Italy to take on their biggest project yet, helping friends who've poured their life savings into a Tuscan farmhouse rental. They begin to restore the villa, but soon find out how challenging a renovation across the world can be.
After two months have passed, Dave and Jenny are back in Italy to check on the progress of the villa. With new construction challenges unfolding on the stone structure, they now begin to worry that the villa will not be completed for a July deadline.
After multiple setbacks, Dave and Jenny take a last minute trip to get the renovation back on track in Italy; they face important design decisions when they arrive, and need to come up with creative solutions to an ever-expanding budget.
With summer upon them, Dave and Jenny take their five kids on a trip to Italy so they can make major progress at the villa. The Marrs juggle family-life and work-life in another country as the kids get to see some amazing, historic and beautiful sites.
