After a medical emergency occurs just hours into the trek and the climbers face a perilous obstacle crossing a ravine, fears rise as the Mountain’s Keeper, who is tracking them along their journey, forces the group to make their first brutal moral decision.
Faced with unexpected events, the trekkers' plans change as they navigate difficult terrain. Crossing a bridge, emotions run high when the Mountain's Keeper confronts them with a critical decision, leaving one person's fate uncertain.

The final four trekkers reach an impassable chasm at the peak of their journey and must use a helicopter long line to cross it; the 13 eliminated members of the group return and play a pivotal role in the final outcome.
