Rabbit Fall (2007)
Rabbit Fall is a Canadian television supernatural drama series, which airs on Space, APTN and Saskatchewan Communications Network. The series stars Andrea Menard as Tara Wheaton, a police officer of Métis descent who takes a job in Rabbit Fall, a remote town in northern Saskatchewan with a history of unexplained events. Wheaton is reluctant to accept the community's supernatural explanations for the events, but finds that the events challenge her sense of rationality. The show's cast also includes Kevin Jubinville, Peter Stebbings, Peter Kelly Gaudreault, Tinsel Korey, Patrick Bird and Booth Savage.

Medicine man Simon Blackhorse vanishes from the custody of Sergeant Stanton Martinsky, who now lies delirious in a hospital bed. Panic washes over Stanton when Tara questions him about the escape. What did he see that day? Stanton is so rattled he decides to leave Rabbit Fall, and appoints Tara Acting Staff Sergeant. Can she uncover the mystery behind Simon’s escape? Her manhunt draws her to the darkest part of the forest where she experiences a terrifying paranormal event.
Tara is taken hostage by a delusional hotel guest engaged in a bizarre argument with his dead wife. The scene grows even more frightening when the man turns his rage on Tara and she begins to feel herself slipping into the madness... Stanton, Bob and Ollie try desperately to save Tara and solve the mystery behind her captor’s demonic behavior.
Tara is suspicious when Harley leaves abruptly in the middle of the night. When she discovers him and a friend parked on the side of the road with a smashed windshield, Harley claims they just hit a deer. But when a local boy is reported missing the next morning, Tara knows there’s more to the story. Her quest for the truth is hindered by a mysterious Little Girl whose untimely appearance puts Tara’s life in danger.
Tara and Zoe discover the body of a young girl in a sacred site with dangerous supernatural powers. When Tara learns Simon sent the girl there for a traditional berry fast, she is determined to prove he is responsible for her death. Bob sets his sights on a more convenient suspect, a sex offender who just happens to be visiting Rabbit Fall.
Tara watches in shock as a gruesome apparition disappears into a freshly dug grave. She sparks outrage when she digs up the grave and unleashes a super bug that spreads throughout Rabbit Fall. Will the Little Girl’s gift to Tara help her stop the wide-spreading disease before it’s too late?
A traumatized girl mysteriously turns up in the forest three years after she went missing. What happened to this girl who will speak to no one but seems to find comfort in Tara? When the hospital reports the girl missing once again, Tara’s obsession with Simon clouds her judgment and almost gets Bob killed. Tara reconsiders her future and decides to leave Rabbit Fall. But a visit by the mysterious Little Girl convinces her to stay for a greater purpose.
A domestic violence dispute leads Tara and Bob to the home of suspect Clinton Morrison. When Morrison’s frightened wife refuses to talk, Tara’s instincts tell her Bob is involved. Desperate to keep his secrets intact, Bob commits an unthinkable act, showing Tara just how dangerous he is when backed into a corner. Tara’s intuition becomes all too real when she suffers flashbacks of a disturbing dream about Simon.
When evidence of Bob’s plot against Tara is destroyed, she knows she has many powerful enemies in Rabbit Fall. Can she trust her supernatural gifts to save her? The clash between present and past escalates into the battle of Tara’s life this explosive season finale.
