Season 3:
Paolo and Laura, in great secrecy, have rented an apartment in the same condominium where they live with their family where they can take refuge away from their children and the chaos of the house where their aunts also moved a few months ago. And right there the two meet to celebrate a very special anniversary.
After being discovered in the secret apartment, Paolo and Laura have to face the whole family envious of their love nest. Meanwhile, the man continues to receive text messages from the doctor's office to collect the results of some tests. Annoyed by the number of messages, Paolo decides to call the studio and discovers that he needs to be examined as soon as possible.
The news of the illness upset Paolo who behaves as if he had little to live on, becomes excessively sentimental and begins to take care of the house: he fixes up Cristina's room, repairs appliances that have been broken for centuries and also gives the nursery to Capone, Valentini and Merloni . The only thing he can't do is find the courage to tell Laura and her children everything.
After receiving the good news from the doctor, Paolo and Laura are full of energy and determined to live more peacefully. Giorgi has to deal with Cristina's decision to work with Martina in a call center. While Capone, Valentini and Merloni have no intention of giving up the nursery that the coach had promised them as an inheritance.
Laura can't accept the idea of Emanuele leaving home, it seems to her that her son is growing up too fast. Meanwhile, in the editorial office, the woman is faced with the consequences of her blank editorial. Paolo, on the other hand, at the nursery meets Eva, Laura's interior decorator friend. The girl is very pretty and Capone instills a doubt in the coach.
Jealous of his daughter's love affair, Paolo decides to write a fake eviction letter to get Cristina back home, but then reconsiders. Martina, through Valentini, happens to come into possession of the letter and talks about it with the girl who forces her father to justify himself in front of everyone.
Paolo is very excited at the idea of having a child, Laura, on the other hand, is terrified because she is afraid of losing him as has already happened to her. Giorgi, meanwhile, discovers that Eva is homosexual and feels embarrassed, but, once the moment is over, he talks openly to the woman about her paternity intentions, obtaining good advice.
The doctor reassures Laura and Paolo: they are both fertile and can have a child. So the two spend the whole day finding a place to "try" but it seems difficult. Cristina seems to have convinced herself to talk to her father about her pregnancy, but every time she tries to do so she is interrupted or misunderstood.
Aunt Elvira's arrival is not painless: no one wants to have anything to do with her, so the lady asks Laura to host her. To ingratiate himself with her, Paolo portrays himself as an expert chef and is forced to prove it by organizing a dinner for the entire family. Once again Eva saves him, helping him in the kitchen.
Following a small accident with Aunt Filomena, Angoscia threw herself out the window and disappeared. Laura, who is unable to give Nina this pain, decides to replace the cat with another, but she hasn't come to terms with the presence of Aunt Elvira. Meanwhile, Cristina and Raoul realize that the time has come to tell Paolo the truth.
Aunt Elvira, as always, upsets everything so that Cristina's pregnancy is no longer a secret. Paolo is displaced by the news of her, considering her daughter still a child and insists on accompanying her to a doctor. Laura tries to talk to her husband, but to no avail. Meanwhile, Jean-Claude's arrival in Rome is a reality and Francesca offers to host him.
Even though it is Sunday, Laura is busy with a thousand things and, above all, she has to take a pregnancy test. When she tells Paolo about the negative result, they both promise to try again but, in reality, they both think that two pregnancies at home are difficult to manage. Meanwhile the aunts have prepared a Christmas surprise.
Cristina and Raoul have decided to tell Claudia about the pregnancy and for this reason they organize a breakfast at the Giorgi-Del Fiore house. When Paolo sees the woman he recognizes the girl with whom, twenty years earlier, he spent a crazy night. But his enthusiasm is matched by no emotion on her part. Eva tries to console him, remaining fascinated by Claudia.
Paolo tells Cristina that he has decided to wait before having a baby with Laura. Cristina does not agree: she does not want to be the cause of this decision which, in her opinion, makes no sense. As soon as she has the opportunity, she decides to talk about it with Laura too. Claudia, meanwhile, has worked out that she is about to become a grandmother and the thought of her haunts her.
Laura and Paolo are increasingly determined to have a child and turn to a doctor, but the tests that the doctor prescribes for Giorgi embarrass him rather. Eva, meanwhile, is obsessed with the thought of Claudia and decides to do something about it.
The outcome of the analyzes worries Paolo who believes he cannot give Laura a child, his wife tries to defuse it, but the fact that the whole family has come to know about the problem does not reassure him at all. Eva, meanwhile, is determined to face Claudia and joins her in the hotel where she is staying.
Laura has a hard time accepting Nina's change and would like her blonde daughter back, but she approaches the subject with her daughter in the wrong way. In order not to think about Claudia, Eva throws herself headlong into her work and when Paolo asks her to bring a floral arrangement to her woman, she is forced to face a face-to-face meeting with her.
It's Christmas Eve and Paolo wakes up with a strange omen: he dreamed of a destroyed house, a woman's foot with a fuchsia shoe and a man's hand holding a knife. The nightmare worries him because he fears that the dinner will be a disaster, especially due to the presence of Eva, Claudia and Roberta.
Christmas in the Giorgi-Del Fiore house is not exactly what can be defined as a White Christmas. In fact, Paolo and Laura, having rushed to the Pierantoni house, take Giulio and Stefania to the hospital, where the spouses have no intention of making peace.
Paolo and Laura discover that Nina ended up in the police station with Fab. In the hospital, meanwhile, Giulio and Stefania not only won't stop arguing, but they've also made the entire nursing corps argue. Monica and Giampaolo, for their part, decide to talk to Elisa together, but they don't know that the woman has a terrible revenge in store.
Intending to have a child, Paolo and Laura go back to the doctor who prescribes a tonic cure for Giorgi with abstinence from sex for a period. In the newsroom the situation of "Tu donna" is alarming: the newspaper has only one issue left. Monica, meanwhile, reveals that she has had visions.
Paolo is grappling with the doctor who is breathing down his neck: first he dreams of him and then he really finds him at home. The man is so exasperated that he decides to suspend the treatment and return to traditional methods. In the meantime Laura, thanks to Rosa's help, has had an idea.
Laura discovers that someone has been using Monica's computer on December 26 and something is not right for her. Paolo, worried about the future of Raoul and Cristina, decides to hire the boy at the nursery. Monica, on the other hand, convinced that everything is over with Giampaolo, she swears that she will never suffer for love again.
Laura had a strange dream: she was sewing a baby's shoe while it was snowing outside. Shaken by the dream, she decides to follow her feelings and return to the doctor for a check-up. Meanwhile, Paolo continues Raoul's training at the nursery. Meanwhile, in the editorial office the girls are determined to find out if Elisa is bluffing.
Monica refuses to go to Giampaolo and Elisa's wedding, convinced that she would suffer too much, but her friends eventually force her. In the middle of the ceremony, Monica has a vision of the past that could completely change the future. Paolo and Laura organize the dinner trying to restore peace in the family.
Martina convinces Cristina and Emanuele to make an attempt to stop Viola and Raoul, who have gone to stay at the residence and are now about to leave permanently. Emanuele is ready to make a heroic gesture to win back her love: will he make it?
