Season 1:
Amrita happily accepts the gift states that it was the best gift which she had received as it had Sugni's best wishes for her. The Thakurains enquire with Aditya's mother why Vikram Singh told Aditya that he had gifted the mud dolls. Aditya and Amrita exchange rings. Sugni dreams of her engagement with Vikram Singh.
Vikram Singh warns the Thakurs that he would not spare them if they utter a word against Sugni further. The gathering gets shocked when Vikram Singh announces that he was going to marry Sugni.
Just before, Vikram Singh could reveal the secret; he realizes that he was imagining the whole scene. Amrita asks Sugni to help her in preparing fish fry for Aditya. Dhanuma secretly calls up at the Jwala Thakur's residence and tells his assistant, Omar Singh, that she knows a way how Jwala Thakur could throw Vikram Singh out of the village. She refuses to reveal her name. Dhanuma tells Omar that she knows that Jwala Thakur does not want Vikram Singh to marry Sugni. Dhanuma tells Omar that she knows a threat which would compel Vikram Singh to leave from the village forever.
Vikram Singh goes to Reva Manzil to deliver a packet. Dhanuma tells Vikram Singh that he must inform the society about the secret of Reva Manzil.
Gulabiya believes Aditya would help her in revealing Reva's truth.
Sugni refuses to get married until Gulabiya agrees to perform her kanyadan.
Aditya's mother gets furious when Gulabiya insults Vikram Singh.
Sugni burns the bridal attire which Vikram Singh had given her.
Aditya learns that Vikram Singh had purchased a property in Sugni's name
Reva asks Vikram Singh why Aditya performed Sugni's sardhakai when he loves Amrita. Vikram Singh gets apprehensive when Reva enquires with him whether he would betray her trust if he was in Aditya's place.
Gulabiya tells Dhanuma that he is apprehensive about Sugni as Aditya may not stand against Vikram Singh as he is his uncle. Dhanuma tells Gulabiya that she would help her only if she assures her that Sugni would leave from the mansion.
Sugni tells Aditya that she had decided to leave from the mansion as Reva does not want her to stay. Reva gets furious when Vikram Singh stops Sugni and announces that she would not leave from the mansion.
Gulabiya feels bad when she learns that Sugni is staying in the outhouse and not Aditya's mansion.Aditya reminds Sugni that since he had performed her sardhakai, she had to stay in the outhouse. Aditya tells Sugni that he wanted her help as he wanted to cure Reva.
To protect herself from rain, Sugni goes to take shelter in a hut. Sugni gets surprised when Vikram Singh arrives in the hut and is about to kiss her.
Sugni feels disgusted when she spots Reva's brother staring at her. Gulabiya tells Sugni that she is going to Mumbai as the government has recognized rai dance as one of the main dances of India. She states that she was selected to showcase the dance performance in the city. Sugni gets elated on hearing it.
Reva tells her brother Niranjan that she is tired of acting insane in front of Vikram Singh and his family. She states that she hoped that Sugni would never be able to return in Vikram Singh's life after her sardhakai. She fears that Vikram Singh would leave her and start living with Sugni. Reva gets irritated when Niranjan starts praising Sugni on her beauty. Niranjan assures Reva that Sugni would not interfere in her life.
Amrita gets stunned when Gulabiya tells her that Aditya had performed Sugni's sardhakai. Aditya holds himself responsible for Sugni's plight. Concerned about Sugni's life, Aditya tells her to leave from the village and start her life afresh. Sugni replies that she cannot be selfish as he had paid Rs 20 lakhs to her family. She states that she does not mind serving him as a maid but would not leave from the village.
Aditya feels insulted when Niranjan asks him whether his and Sugni relationship's was temporary or lifelong. He also mockingly tells Aditya that he would not mind accepting Sugni after Aditya leaves her. Aditya gets furious and is about to hit Niranjan. Reva arrives at the spot and stops Aditya. Sugni helps Barfi in repairing his bicycle. Before leaving, Barfi manages to make Sugni smile for a while.
Niranjan gets shocked when he learns that Vikram Singh wants to divorce Reva. Vikram Singh believes that Sugni is still in love with him. Reva tries to get closer to Vikram Singh; however Vikram Singh pushes her away.
Vikram Singh gets furious when Reva insults Sugni. Reva regrets her decision of bringing Sugni in the mansion. Vikram Singh tells Reva that he would never come back to her. He further states that he would soon divorce her. Karthari asks for his share in the money which they received after Sugni's sardhakai. Sugni tells Gulabiya that she feels protected where Aditya is around her. She decides to inform Aditya that Amrita knew that he had conducted her sardhakai. Sugni tells Reva that she has no feelings for Vikram Singh.
Reva tries to compel Sugni to get closer to Aditya. Reva believes that Vikram Singh would accept her if Sugni gets intimate with Aditya. Concerned about Amrita and Aditya's relationship, Sugni refuses to follow Reva's orders. On hearing Sugni's statement, Reva insults her. Vikram Singh argues with Reva for insulting Sugni. He states that he wanted to marry Sugni. He further adds that he would be divorcing Reva. Vikram Singh points the gun at Sugni and forcibly takes her along with him. Niranjan and Reva chase Vikram Singh's car.
Sugni jumps off the jeep. Vikram Singh takes Sugni to a temple and reminds her about her promise. Sugni refuses to accept Vikram Singh. Meanwhile, Aditya finds Reva and Vikram Singh's divorce papers. Gulabiya and Reva reach the temple. Gulabiya threatens to kill Vikram Singh. Vikram Singh gets shocked when Aditya refuses to support him.
Sugni gets furious when Vikram Singh shoots Gulabiya. She threatens to kill herself if Vikram Singh did not leave the temple rightaway. Concerned about Sugni's life, Vikram Singh leaves from the temple. Aditya's mother gets shocked when Reva and Niranjan inform her about Vikram Singh's crime. Aditya's mother informs the duo about her mother's arrival.
Vikram Singh calls Niranjan and orders him to take away Reva. Vikram Singh apologises to Sugni for shooting Gulabiya. He later realises that he was dreaming about Sugni. A furious Gulabiya expresses disappointment to Aditya. To prove his innocence, Aditya decides to marry Sugni.
Kathari and his family get shocked when they learn that Vikram Singh has shot Gulabiya. Aditya and Sugni admit Gulabiya in the hospital. Aditya's mother informs Vikram Singh that Reva had locked herself up in a room. Vikram Singh manages to break the door. He gets apprehensive when he finds Reva conscious. Vikram Singh scolds Reva that he cannot accept her as he is in love with Sugni. He further insults Reva. Reva argues with Vikram Singh. Vikram Singh states that he would divorce Reva.
Kathari and Hukum go to Vikram Singh's mansion and beg Aditya's mother to financial support them. Vikram Singh comes to visit Gulabiya in the hospital. Gulabiya mocks Vikram Singh when he apologises for shooting her. While leaving from the hospital, Vikram Singh overhears the doctor talking to Sugni. He gets shocked as the doctor was addressing someone as Sugni's husband. Out of curiosity, Vikram Singh asks Sugni who was her husband. Vikram Singh gets shocked he learns that Aditya is Sugni's husband.
Vikram Singh angrily questions Aditya why he betrayed his trust by marrying Sugni. He further threatens to kill Aditya. Sugni pushes Vikram Singh away from Aditya and warns him to stay away from her husband. Aditya tells Sugni that Vikram Singh is furious; however he would never harm him. Before leaving, Vikram Singh tells Sugni that he would see to it that she and Aditya never get united. Sugni and Aditya go to Vikram Singh's mansion. Reva and Aditya's mother get shocked when they learned that Aditya had married Sugni. Aditya states that very soon he and Sugni would again get married in front of the society. Vikram Singh, too, arrives in the mansion. Just before Vikram Singh could splash water on Sugni's face, Ma Thakur arrives in the mansion and stops him.
Vikram Singh and his family welcome Ma Thakur in the mansion. At first, Ma Thakur gets furious when Aditya introduces Sugni as his prospective wife but later agrees. Ma Thakur tells Aditya that she wants to meet Sugni's family. Aditya lies to Ma Thakur that Sugni is an orphan. Reva gets elated as Sugni was going to marry Aditya. Vikram Singh gets irritated when Ma Thakur states that hence forth she would take decisions on behalf of her family. The next day, the pundit fixes Sugni and Aditya's marriage date in the coming week. Gulabiya comes to visit Sugni. Ma Thakur overhears Sugni addressing Gulabiya as her mother. Ma Thakur informs Gulabiya that she was told that Sugni is an orphan. Gulabiya gets shocked on hearing it. Ma Thakur further questions Sugni about Gulabiya.
Varsha asks a certain person to call Purvi and informs her that Varsha is in Bundelkhand. Without wasting time, Purvi informs Manav and the inspector about Varsha's location. Meanwhile in Bundelkhand, Gulabiya lies to Ma Thakur that Sugni is an orphan and she addresses her as her mother as she took care of her since childhood. Gulabiya feels bad when Ma Thakur states that she hates Bednis. Sugni fears that if Ma Thakur learns about the truth, she would stop her marriage. Aditya assures Sugni that he would handle the situation.
Sugni along with Aditya and his family participate in a hawan. Compelled by Vikram Singh, Gulabiya forcibly performs the raai dance during Sugni and Aditya's engagement ceremony. Ma Thakur and Aditya's mother gets furious while Sugni and Aditya are left shocked. Gulabiya tells Ma Thakur that she performed the raai dance as she wanted to bless Sugni. Ma Thakur warns Gulabiya that next time she would not tolerate such behaviour. To handle the situation, Aditya lies to Ma Thakur that Niranjan must have called the Bednis to perform. Later, Sugni expresses her anger at Vikram Singh. Vikram Singh tries to make Sugni realise that she would not be happy with Aditya. He also tries to compel Sugni to stop the engagement but fails.
Aditya feels bad for Amrita as he is going to get engaged to Sugni. During the engagement ceremony, the engagement ring does not fit in Sugni's finger. Vikram Singh mockingly states that the ring is not of Sugni's finger size. He tells Ma Thakur that he has a ring which would fit in Sugni's finger. Aditya hesitantly the ring and puts it on Sugni's finger. Late at night, Sugni goes out of her room to bring water. She gets terrified when Vikram Singh pulls her towards him. In fear, Sugni drops the jug. On hearing the noise, Aditya's aunt comes out of her room. Vikram Singh leaves before Aditya's aunt could spot him.
Vikram Singh smartly wipes off Sugni's mehendi which had 'A' designed on it. He points out to Sugni that her palm now has 'V' designed on it. In anger, Sugni slits her hand and states that she has removed Vikram Singh out of her life. Aditya's aunt informs Ma Thakur about Sugni's injury. Ma Thakur enquires with Sugni about her injury. Sugni smartly handles the situation. Later, Vikram Singh injures his hand. During one of the marriage ceremonies, Vikram Singh gifts bridal attire to Sugni. Sugni refuses to accept it. Sugni tells Vikram Singh that Aditya had already gifted bridal attire to her and she wanted to wear that for her wedding. Ma Thakur gets elated to see Vikram Singh's involvement for Aditya's marriage. She announces that Sugni would wear the attire which Aditya had brought for her. Vikram Singh gets elated when he receives a call from a certain person. The certain person informs Vikram Singh that he had reached the village. Vikram Singh had decided to foil Sugni and Aditya's haldi ceremony.
Sugni gets shocked when Amrita arrives for her mehendi ceremony. Amrita gets the shock of her life when she learns that Aditya is going to marry Sugni. Ma Thakur questions Aditya about Amrita. Reva introduces Amrita as Aditya's friend. Later, Aditya tries to make Amrita understand his reason for marrying Sugni. However, Amrita refuses to listen. Amrita tells Aditya that Vikram Singh had invited her to come to the village. Sugni feels awkward when Ma Thakur introduces her and Amrita. Ma Thakur asks Vikram Singh to click Sugni, Amrita and Aditya's photograph on his phone.

Ma Thakur complains as Sugni cleans the floor. Sugni states that Gulabiya had taught her that no work is big or small. Ma Thakur gets impressed with Sugni and praises her. Vikram Singh notices that Amrita is wearing the ancestral ring. Aditya smartly handles the situation. Amrita gets upset when Ma Thakur asks her to remove the ring. Late at night, Sugni angrily questions Vikram Singh why he is instigating Amrita to reveal the truth to Ma Thakur. While conversing with Vikram Singh, Sugni accidently falls in the pond.
Vikram Singh saves Sugni. Ma Thakur and the other family members get apprehensive when they realise that Sugni is missing from the mansion. The family gets shocked when Vikram Singh along with Sugni enters the mansion. Vikram Singh informs the family that Sugni accidently fell in the pond. Amrita realises Sugni is trying to take her position in Aditya's life. She asks Sugni to leave Aditya. Amrita tells Sugni that Aditya is marrying her only to fulfil her promise. Aditya slaps Amrita when she insults Sugni. Ma Thakur tells Sugni that she would address her as 'Pari' as she is very innocent and understanding. Gulabiya is happy to see Ma Thakur expressing her love for Sugni. Sugni tells Ma Thakur that Gulabiya has always been with her throughout her life. A sad Sugni tells Gulabiya that Aditya slapped Amrita.
Manav, Archana and Tejaswini get apprehensive when they fail to follow Varsha. Manav informs Archana and Tejaswini that he has contacted the Mumbai Police and they would come to Patna for their assistance. Balan informs Vishnu and Varsha that Tiwari would handle Purvi's kidnapping case. He states that Vishnu would have to go to Mumbai. In honor of Vishnu, Balan and villagers carryout a procession throughout the village. Tejaswini calls Manav up and informs him that she saw Vishnu and his gang members in the vicinity. She gets shocked when she spots Varsha with them. Manav and Archana get shocked when Tejaswini informs them about Varsha. Archana believes that Varsha had come to know that they were following her and so she hired Vishnu and his gang members as she wants them to stay away from Soham. A villager informs Tejaswini, Manav and Archana that the procession proceeded towards the grounds to celebrate the success of Jhumeri's son. Manav believes that they would find Varsha in the midst of the crowd.
Amrita angrily asks Sugni to give her the sindoor box. Aditya's aunt instigates Reva against Sugni. She adds that Ma Thakur had given the ancestral necklace to Sugni. Kathari and Laxmi come in the mansion to meet Sugni. Just before the couple could reveal about their relationship with Sugni, Gulabiya handles the situation. Sugni gets upset as she recollects the conversation wherein Amrita had insulted her. Hukum and Lagariya decide to keep the ancestral necklace. Sugni requests them not to take the necklace as Ma Thakur had given it to her. Sugni gets apprehensive when Ma Thakur asks her about her relationship with Hukum and Lagariya. Sugni smartly handles the situation. Sugni manages to hide her relationship with Tinkle from Ma Thakur. Aditya's aunt decides to inform Ma Thakur about Aditya and Amrita's argument.
Vikram Singh continues to instigate Amrita against Sugni. Ma Thakur gets shocked when Amrita informs her that she is in love with Aditya. She states that she has accepted the fact that Sugni has taken her place in Aditya's life. Vikram Singh gets shocked on hearing it. Before leaving, Amrita apologises to Sugni. She also gives Sugni a necklace. Ma Thakur hopes Amrita gets a perfect life partner in future. Gulabiya thanks Amrita for saving Sugni's life. Amrita tells Aditya that she would always wait for him. She also tells Vikram Singh that she sacrificed her love for Aditya's happiness. Later, Sugni rages at Vikram Singh as he wanted to stop her marriage. She further states that she would attend the kuldevi puja.
Vikram Singh tries to make Sugni recollect the time when they were head over heels in love with each other. Sugni tells Aditya that she could not keep the necklace which Amrita had given to her before leaving. Aditya asks Sugni to keep the necklace with her. Aditya's aunt, Seema tells Sugni that she wants to wear the ancestral necklace which Ma Thakur had given to her. At that time, Ma Thakur enters the room and rages at Seema for wearing the necklace. Seema mockingly insults Lagariya when Sugni takes her blessings. Sugni tells Gulabiya that she wants to reveal the truth to Ma Thakur as she could not bear the family ill-treating her. Gulabiya stops Sugni. The family leaves to go to the kuldevi mandir. Ma Thakur tells Sugni that the lamp should not extinguish until the puja is accomplished. Sugni has difficulty in keeping the lamp from extinguishing.
Sugni gets apprehensive as she recollects the conversation where in Vikram Singh stated that he would stop her from performing the kuldevi puja. Ma Thakur asks the pundit to commence the puja. Gulabiya is happy as Sugni would be living her dream. In the middle of the puja, Aditya receives a call from a certain person. The person informs Aditya about Vikram Singh's accident. On learning Vikram Singh's accident, Sugni and Aditya rush to the accident spot. Gulabiya slaps Sugni when she states that she is still in love with Vikram Singh. Aditya tells Sugni that he understands her concern over Vikram Singh's accident. Gulabiya mockingly tells Vikram Singh about the puja which Aditya and Sugni were performing in the mansion. Vikram Singh gets apprehensive when he sees Sugni and Aditya performing the puja. Vikram Singh decides to go to any extent in order to be with Sugni.
Vikram Singh gets irritated when Reva states that Sugni does not care about him. Reva tells Vikram Singh that she would never leave him as she wants to maintain her position in the mansion. Sugni recollects the moment when Gulabiya slapped her. Aditya manages to cheer Sugni's mood. He tells Sugni that she must never lose hope and always be happy. Their conversation gets interrupted when Vikram Singh enters the room.
Vikram Singh mockingly tells Sugni that she would not be happy without him. Vikram Singh asks Aditya and Sugni to come with him to the temple as he wants to tell them about a certain thing. Vikram Singh takes Aditya and Sugni to the same temple where Aditya had decided to marry Sugni. Aditya gets shocked when Reva states the Thakurs could have an affair with Bednis and so she has no objection towards Vikram Singh and Sugni's relationship. Gulabiya gets furious when Aditya refuses to marry Sugni. Sugni returns the chain which Amrita had given her. She tells Aditya that she from hence forth she would fight on her own. She makes it clear to Vikram Singh that she would never be with him.
Gulabiya rages at Lagariya and the rest of the family as she knew that they were more concerned about Sugni not marrying Aditya than Sugni's plight. Hukum learns that Gulabiya and Sugni would be leaving from the village. He locks the door and immediately goes and informs Vikram Singh about it. Gulabiya and Sugni manage to escape from the house. Gulabiya and Sugni notice Vikram Singh and so they walk along with a crowd. Aditya saves Sugni when the police attack the crowd. Vikram Singh manages to find Sugni and Aditya. Vikram Singh gets into an argument with Aditya when he decides to accept Sugni. Vikram Singh gets shocked when Sugni aims the gun in his direction.

Sugni gets shocked when Vikram Singh sadly states that he would never come in her way. Ma Thakur tells Aditya and Sugni that Vikram Singh is not in the mansion. Reva tells Niranjan that in order to maintain her position in the mansion, she tried to convince Aditya not marry Sugni. Ma Thakur expresses her concern over Aditya and Sugni's marriage. Aditya wants to tell Ma Thakur that he could not marry Sugni.
Aditya informs his mother that Vikram Singh had promised Sugni that he would never come in her way. He adds that he wanted to tell Ma Thakur that he could not marry Sugni. Sugni gets upset when she finds the pair of earrings, which Vikram Singh wanted to gift her, in her room. Reva notices sadness on Sugni's face and believes that she is feeling sad as Vikram Singh had decided to stay away from her. She believes that Sugni and Vikram Singh's feelings may change with time and hence decides to conduct Sugni and Aditya's marriage as soon as possible. Aditya is not able to tell Ma Thakur about his decision. He later realises that he is in love with Sugni.
Sugni gets elated when Aditya brings food for her. Their conversation gets interrupted when they hear Ma Thakur's voice. Aditya's uncle informs the family that few villagers found Vikram Singh's jeep and belongings in the forest. Reva assures Ma Thakur that Vikram Singh would return before Sugni and Aditya's wedding. Sugni is left confused as Reva is more concerned about the wedding than Vikram Singh's safety. Late at night, Sugni gets apprehensive about Vikram Singh's safety.
Aditya decides to inform Sugni about his feelings, however is not able to tell her. Aditya also realises that Sugni still loves Vikram Singh. Ma Thakur tells Aditya and Sugni that they must postpone their marriage until Vikram Singh returns. Reva complains to Niranjan about Sugni's interference in her life. Ma Thakur gets furious when Champa arrives in the mansion. She angrily asks Sugni how she is related to Champa.
Niranjan orders his henchmen to find Vikram Singh and kill him. Aditya tells Ma Thakur that he and Sugni are going in search of Vikram Singh. Reva calls Niranjan up and angrily asks him to find Vikram Singh. Vikram Singh goes to a Bedni's house and shares his plight with her. Reva tells Ma Thakur that she too wants to go in search of Vikram Singh. Reva tells Aditya that she would come with him from the subsequent morning.

The next day, Reva, Aditya and Sugni go in search of Vikram Singh. Sugni manages to find about Vikram Singh's location. Reva informs Niranjan about Vikram Singh's location. Aditya and Sugni get apprehensive when their car breaks down. On their way to the village, Aditya falls on the ground. Niranjan reaches the village however does not notice Vikram Singh.
Gulabiya believes that Aditya must have informed Ma Thakur that he does not want to marry Sugni. Sugni and Aditya decide to rest in a stable for the night. Reva gets furious when she finds Niranjan at a Bedni's house instead of finding Vikram Singh in the village. In anger, Reva tells Niranjan that she would go alone in search of Vikram Singh. Niranjan spots Vikram Singh near the neighbourhood. He quickly informs his henchmen to arrive at the spot. Niranjan calls Reva and informs her about Vikram Singh's whereabouts. Reva asks Niranjan to ask one of his henchmen to keep an eye on Vikram Singh. The next day, Aditya and Sugni learn from the one of the Bednis living in the village that Vikram Singh had come to their village.
Reva goes to Champa's house and compels her to help her. Reva lies to Champa that she is concerned about Vikram Singh and hence wants him to reunite with Sugni. Reva lies to Ma Thakur that she is talking to Vikram Singh over the phone. She assures Ma Thakur that Vikram Singh told her that he would return soon. An elated Ma Thakur calls Aditya up and asks him to return home. Aditya tells Sugni that Ma Thakur has asked them to return. Champa goes to meet Vikram Singh. Before leaving, Champa hands over a note to Vikram Singh. The note reads that Sugni wants to meet Vikram Singh at a temple as she feels miserable after rejecting his love.
Aditya tries to reason with Ma Thakur why Vikram Singh would inform Reva about his whereabouts. Sugni is left confused as she could not understand why Reva is eager to get her married off to Aditya. She strongly believes that Reva is plotting a conspiracy against her. She is left wondering why Vikram Singh would support Reva. Champa informs Sugni that Vikram Singh is waiting for her at the temple. At the temple , a group of goons stab Vikram Singh. Sugni arrives at the temple and gets shocked to see Vikram Singh's condition. She immediately rushes Vikram Singh to the hospital. Dressed as a nurse, Reva tries to inject poison in Vikram Singh's body. She gets shocked when Vikram Singh gains consciousness.
Sugni tells Vikram Singh that she is happy that he is safe. The family gets elated as Vikram Singh would be returning to the mansion. Reva questions Vikram Singh why he hates her when she trusted him. She also tries to make Vikram Singh realize that Sugni is in love with Aditya. Sugni believes Vikram Singh inform Ma Thakur about their relationship. She believes that the Thakur family would get devastated if Vikram Singh divorces Reva. Sugni decides not to marry Vikram Singh. Reva tries to convince Vikram Singh that Sugni wants to achieve the status and money. Meanwhile, Sugni tells Gulabiya that she would not marry Vikram Singh neither Aditya.
Reva sends a picture of Sugni and Aditya to Vikram Singh. She tries her best to make Vikram Singh realize that Sugni is in love with Aditya. Sugni gets shocked when Vikram Singh accuses her of trying to kill him. Concerned about Sugni's future, Gulabiya tries to convince Sugni to leave the village. Sugni is determined to inform Ma Thakur about the truth.
Sugni confesses to Ma Thakur that she always to inform her about the truth. Ma Thakur refuses to accept Sugni as her daughter-in-Law. In anger, Vikram Singh leaves from the mansion. Reva and Aditya's mother angrily tell Sugni to leave the mansion. Aditya stands up for Sugni and states that she would not leave the mansion.
Kuhu is about to welcome Sugni and Aditya into the mansion when Ma Thakur stops her. Vikram Singh convinces Ma Thakur to let Sugni come into the mansion. Ma Thakur warns Kuhu that she would not tolerate her being so outspoken and going against the family rules. Sugni apologizes to Aditya for asking him to marry her on the spot. Aditya tells Sugni that he is not regretting on his decision.
Sugni feels guilty for marrying Aditya despite being in love with Vikram Singh. Vikram Singh tries to force Sugni to get intimate with him. Aditya stops Sugni in time. A furious Vikram Singh break ties with Aditya.
Ma Thakur insults Sugni as she had stepped in the kitchen. Gulabiya saves Champa from few people, who were forcing her to come along with them for a movie. A furious Ma Thakur orders Sugni to leave from the mansion. Aditya tells Ma Thakur that he and Sugni would leave the mansion. Sugni intervenes and states that she would not leave as she wants to prove that she can be an obedient daughter-in-law.
Gulabiya comes to the mansion to give gifts to Sugni. Ma Thakur insults Gulabiya. Reva stops Gulabiya from giving gifts to Sugni, but Aditya intervenes and stands up for Gulabiya and Sugni.
The femalefolk of the family get mehendi designed on their hands. Ma Thakur stops Sugni from getting her hands designed. Sugni is adamant that Vikram Singh would stop her from keeping the karva chauth fast for Aditya.
Vikram Singh brings gifts for Sugni which she refuses to accept. Vikram Singh mockingly tells Aditya that he not only lives in his house but is also incapable of fulfilling Sugni's wishes. Aditya goes in search of work as he wants to earn money.
Aditya manages to get a work as a labourer. Before Aditya could end his work for the day, the officer incharge gives him more work. Meanwhile, Sugni waits for Aditya as she has to break her karva chauth fast. Vikram Singh offers to break Sugni's fast. At that time, Aditya arrives and warns Vikram Singh not to bother Sugni.
Ma Thakur gets furious when Sugni brings food for her to break her fast. Reva mockingly insults Sugni. Aditya's aunt leaves the room by telling Ma Thakur that she would bring food for her, Later, Sugni notices Aditya's aunt leaving from the kitchen. She quickly replaces the food which Aditya's aunt had kept in the dish. Sugni quietly watches the food which Ma Thakur was eating from the dish, which Aditya's aunt had brought. She gets elated when Ma Thakur praises the food. After a few days, Sugni overhears a conversation wherein Reva tells Aditya's aunt that if she wants to fulfil her wish, she would have to pray and tie a thread around a peepal tree, which is near the temple. Sugni tries to request Aditya's mother to take her along with them for the puja, but fails. Sugni gets irritated when Vikram Singh mocks her.
Ma Thakur performs the puja in the temple. Sugni also attends the puja. The women present in the temple notice Sugni and begin to talk about her. When Ma Thakur and Reva notice Sugni, the duo insults her in front of the people gathered in the temple. Aditya plans to take a loan as he wants to purchase a warehouse.
Aditya purchases the warehouse. Vikram Singh mockingly compares Sugni to the servants as she was working on the eve of Diwali. Sugni smartly replies that she is doing the household chores as she is a part of the family. Ma Thakur is waiting for Aditya to return home so that she could start with the Lakshmi puja. Aditya wishes to include Sugni in the puja. When Ma Thakur stops Aditya from including Sugni in the puja, Aditya refuses to join the puja as well.
Aditya brings gifts and fire crackers for Sugni on the occasion of Diwali. The warehouse which Aditya had purchased catches fire. On investigating, Aditya learns that someone had intentionally set the warehouse on fire. Ma Thakur blames Sugni for Aditya's plight. Aditya, however, stands by Sugni and tries to make the family understand that Sugni is innocent.
Vikram Singh tells Aditya that he would help him recover the loss that he suffered. However, Ma Thakur stops Vikram Singh. Sugni stops Aditya from informing the family that Vikram Singh had set the warehouse on fire. Ma Thakur warns Reva that Sugni could still make Vikram Thakur fall in love with her. Sugni's family members come to meet her at the mansion. They get upset when the Thakurs insult them and order them to leave the mansion.
The money lender asks Aditya to repay his money within two hours. Digvijay secretly goes to Vikram Singh's mansion to meet Kuhu. Just before the duo could get intimate, Sugni arrives in the room and insults Digvijay. Vikram Singh gets apprehensive when the police arrive in the house to arrest Aditya as he had refused to pay the money lender's money. Aditya clarifies that he agreed to pay the money lender's money. He adds that he told the money lender that he wanted some more time to arrange the amount. The police pay no heed to Aditya's words and arrest him. Later a certain person bails Aditya from prison. It is later revealed that Vikram Singh had bailed him out. Vikram Singh tells Aditya that he wants him to repay the amount within a month. He adds that if Aditya is not able to pay the amount, Sugni would have to spend a night with him. Aditya gets furious on hearing Vikram Singh's statement.

Gulabiya goes to the Thakur mansion to return the money and jewelry. Ma Thakur insults Gulabiya.

Gulabiya lies to Sugni that she came to meet Aditya after learning about his factory. Vikram Singh tells Reva that they would never consummate their marriage. The next day, Sugni learns from Ma Thakur that Gulabiya had come to the palace to return the shagun. Kuhu offers to help Sugni in selling her handicraft work. In the middle of their conversation, Digvijay calls Kuhu up.
Sugni sells the handicraft items in the village. Gulabiya saves up money for Sugni. Digvijay asks Kuhu to get intimate with him. Kuhu denies the intimacy by stating that she would get intimate only after Digvijay marries her. Digvijay gets married to Kuhu. After selling the saris, Sugni waits for Kuhu at the bus stop. Hukum buys a new bike from the money which Gulabiya had saved for Sugni.
Kuhu lies to Sugni that she met her friend and hence got late. Vikram Singh insults Aditya. Aditya smartly replies to Aditya that he would make sure that he would pay his debt. Vikram Singh gets furious when he spots Sugni expressing her concern over Aditya. In anger, Vikram Singh burns the saris. Sugni mocks Vikram Singh that he never loved her. Later, Vikram Singh asks Sugni to meet him near the village. Sugni gets shocked when she learns that Aditya would be getting in the boxing ring in order to arrange the money to pay Vikram Singh. Sugni begs Vikram Singh to spare Aditya's life. Vikram Singh asks Sugni to spend one night with her. When Sugni rejects, Vikram Singh orders his henchmen to injury Aditya in the boxing ring. For Aditya's sake, Sugni bows down to Vikram Singh's needs. Vikram Singh orders Sugni to dress up like a bride.
Sugni is upset as she dresses up as a bride. She prays to God to give her strength as she was going to commit a crime. Reva informs Aditya that both Sugni and Vikram Singh are not present in the mansion. Aditya angrily asks Reva not to bother about Sugni. Vikram Singh compels Sugni to express her love to him. Sugni gets terrified as Vikram Singh tries to get intimate with her.
Vikram Singh wipes off the sindoor from Sugni's forhead and tries to get intimate with her. Late at night, Sugni is relieved to encounter Aditya at the door. Aditya gets surprised on noticing Vikram Singh following Sugni. Aditya gets inquisitive regarding where Sugni had been late at night. Sugni, however, manages to cover it up by lying to Aditya. Reva suspects that Sugni and Vikram Singh were with each other. Reva and Vikram Singh get into an argument. Reva tries to find out the truth from Sugni, but fails.
Aditya gets worried when he notices Sugni lost in her thoughts. Aditya gets furious when Vikram Singh gives him a legal paper stating that all his debts are paid. Aditya is adamant that Sugni is upset about a certain thing. He tries to learn the reason from Sugni but fails. Sugni tells Aditya that she does not trust Vikram Singh and hence she does not want him to trust him in anyway. Aditya assures Sugni that he will pay off the debts to Vikram Singh as soon as possible. v
A jealous Vikram Singh realizes that Reva is jealous of Sugni and plans to take advantage of her jealousy. Reva blackmails Sugni, with a view to take revenge and disturbs Sugni's relation with Aditya. Aditya tries to clear his debts with Vikram Singh, which he denies accepting and in turn clears him from all his debts. Vikram Singh takes Reva's action in a casual manner and leaves, not bothered. Sugni, on the other hand, is worried of facing her husband as she betrayed him. She makes a visit to Jwala Singh's mansion. Jwala Singh insults Sugni but she manages to complain about Digvijay.
Sugni scuffles for Kuhu with Jwala Singh. She further asks Digvijay Singh to confront the truth to his father. Digvijay confronts the truth to his father and gets applaud in return that further provokes him. Digvijay kidnaps Champa and further rapes her. Digvijay, on the other hand, fakes his togetherness with Kuhu. They are unaware of Vikram Singh's presence in the premises and they hence gets his thrashing. Both Sugni and Aditya are perplexed with the situations bothering them.
Aditya is skeptic to understand Sugni's trustworthiness. Vikram Singh pesters Sugni, who is unaware of Aditya's presence in the premises. Sugni tries to hinder Champa from committing suicide. Jwala Singh on the other hand, gets an approval for his proposal from Maa Thakur.
Maa Thakkur promulgates Kuhu's engagement to Digvijay, which pesters Vikram Singh. Sugni's confession further annoys Aditya. Maa Thakur prohibits Sugni's attainment in the engagement ceremony. Sugni's consent is left unheard. Vikram Singh on the other hand is aggravated with anger.
Phir Subah Hogi, Sugni learns the disrupted state of Champa. She further tries to interrupt the engagement ceremony at the palace. Jwala Singh's and Digvijay's pretentious behaviour turns in their favour leaving a complex environment against Sugni. Aditya hence, thrashes her out of the palace.
Aditya affronts Sugni. She further urges Vikram Singh to confront the truth to Aditya on which, Vikram Singh alters the truth. Aditya leaves the premises further leaving Sugni saddened.
Sugni engages in a fierce argument with Vikram Singh. Digvijay on the other hand celebrates his victory with Jwala Singh. Vikram Singh tries to influence Maa Thakur's decision. Digvijay tortures Champa who later sheds her annoyance against him. Maa Thakur misses a convergence with Champa at the venue. She further admonishes Jwala Singh and Digvijay to not cross the line. Champa on the other hand, rescues her way out of Jwala Singh's palace. Sugni stays stubborn on proving her authenticity but is abruptly stopped by Aditya. She further learns Champa's condition from Jwala Singh on Digvijay's phone, which he accidently lefts at Vikram Singh's palace. She hides Champa in Vikram Singh's palace and ends up in an intimate state with Vikram Singh, unaware of Aditya's presence at the moment. Vikram Singh further misinterprets the situation to Aditya.
Vikram Singh alters the truth to Aditya that leaves him annoyed. Jwala Singh further alters a truth about Champa to Vikram Singh. Sugni tries to comprehend Kuhu. Riva on the other hand plots an artifice against Sugni.
Riva sets Sugni to an unconscious state. Maa Thakur gets skeptic on reminiscing Gulabia's remarks. She further urges Aditya to cover the truth. He further urges Champa to proclaim the truth to Kuhu.
Aditya and Sugni urge Champa to reveal the truth. Champa conceals the truth with self, further leaving Sugni in guilt. She further apologize Sugni for her offence.
Aditya attends Sugni and Champa's interaction. They form a situation for Vikram Singh to cover the entire truth. Vikram Singh unknowingly reveals the truth and further thrashes them with his annoyance.
Aditya apologises Sugni but she leaves the premises. Kuhu gets disturbs on seeking Jwala Singh and Digvijay's incongruous behaviour. Aditya on the other hand cease Sugni's visit.
Aditya and Sugni take their vows to secure their relationship. Digvijay on the other hand behaves briskly with Kuhu. Vikram Singh gets exasperated with his bother on seeking Sugni and Aditya in their affectionate moment.
Vikram Singh tries to calm Maa Thakur from her bother for Kuhu. Maa Thakur further notices the bruises on Kuhu's body and gets exasperatedly bothered. Sugni on the other hand gets bewildered on learning Kuhu's behaviour.
Kuhu has an argument with Sugni but Sugni ponders her resentment in Kuhu's favour. A Witchery woman saint stumble upon Aditya's way and proclaims Sugni the strength that she holds, which would cure Aditya's encounter with death.
Vikram gets disturbed on seeking Aditya accompanied by Sugni. Sungi and Aditya meet a dreadful accident. The Singh family startles on learning the incidence. Sugni and Aditya return back home in a sound condition.
Subah Hogi, the Singh's take a sigh of relief on learning Aditya's wellbeing. Riva indulges in an argument with Aditya. Sugni learns Vikram's plotting behind the accident caused and further quarrels with him.
Sugni and Vikram Singh indulge in an argument. Digvijay pretentiously acquire goodness in his favour. He tries to manhandle Kuhu but bumps into Maa Thakur's presence in the premises further turning table in his favour.
Maa Thakur permits Digvijay to attend the celebration. Riva held Jwala Singh in guilt, on learning his behaviour at Kuhu's doorstep. Suman try to create a rift in Aditya's and Sugni's relationship by leaving him skeptic. Digvijay manipulates his quarrel with Sugni in Maa Thakur's presence. Sugni gets disturbed on receiving her broken bangle from Aditya.
