Season 1:
Mazen cares for his wife Mariam in the wake of their daughter's death. Mazen meets his drama student Cosette.
As Mazen tries to help Mariam, he starts to get close to Cosette to a point where he refuses to travel with Mariam.
Mazen and Cosette start an affair. When Mariam feels that she neglected her husband and tries to make amends, Mazen leaves Cosette.
Yousef is put in charge of a project. He is thrilled to learn of his wife's pregnancy.
Yousef refuses Sami's bribe. Maya is attracted to Yousef but he rebuffs her when she tries to get close to him.
As he has an affair with Maya, Yousef starts to think that his wife is cheating on him. Maya supports Yousef when it's revealed that he is mentally ill and that Amal died a long time ago.
A group of Syrian refugees goes through horrors as they try to cross the sea to a European country.
As some of the immigrants die, Eiad supports Samar after Rami abandons her.
Eiad arranges a ride for Samar and his friends as he sets out on foot to reach the borders. But his friends die.
Despite his vast wealth, Lama is miserable with her husband Akkab. Her life turns upside down when her former sweetheart Karim returns.
Lama starts a sexual relationship with Karim. When she falls pregnant, Karim asks her to abort the baby because they can not determine its paternity. Lama refuses.

Tima refuses to tell Ayman the truth and decides to get close to him. Samer confesses his love for Tima but his feelings aren't reciprocated.
Ayman falls for Tima who tells him the truth and leaves him to avenge what he did to her mother. She grows close to Samer and agrees to his proposal.
Julia enlists the help of the psychiatrist Omar to get over her insecurity and fear of people.
As Omar and Julia grow close, he tells her of how his son died in a house fire and how guilty he feels for abandoning his family.
Julia discovers that her brother Bassem is the one who has been threatening her to take her inheritance. Omar protects her against Bassem.
With his children preoccupied with their own lives, Ehsan feels lonely. His grandchildren decide to stay with him to help.
Despite his children's objections, Ehsan decides to help his grandchildren with their problems.
Ehsan dies after he helps resolve his family's problems. He leaves a will asking his children and grandchildren to reunite.
As Rami starts his new job at a psychiatric facility, one of the patients tells him that the staff kidnapped and locked her up in the facility.
Rami informs Yara's husband of her location but tells him that she is mentally ill. Dr. Bassem decides not to interfere.
As Rami falls for Yara, he decides to break her out of the facility. It's revealed that Yara's husband is the one who got her locked up. Rami stands by Yara.
Kenda tries to get her husband to quit his gambling addiction. She gets kidnapped for a ransom.
As Kenda's family tries to gather the ransom, Emad tries to help Kenda. He tells her that his wife died after she was kidnapped and that he got involved with the gang to find his wife's kidnappers.
Kenda is shocked to learn that her husband plotted her kidnap to get money. Emad dies after he breaks her out.
Haneen is devastated when she learns that her fiancé Wessam has cheated on her. She breaks up with him.
When Haneen tells her story on Tayem's show, Tayem decides to look for her. Wessam tries to get close to Haneen's friend Sarah.
Tayem and Haneen grow close. Sarah is sure that Wessam is deceiving her and that he is still in love with Haneen. Haneen decides to marry Tayem.
Massa is a fashion designer. Qusai joins her company because she is his muse.
Qusai confesses his feeling for Massa who shares his feelings. Lorka tells Massa that he loves her.
Massa is disfigured in an accident. Qusai loses his sight. Massa commits suicide. It turns out that Qusai asked the doctor to tell Massa that he lost his sight to support her.
When Ghaith has an accident, he meets Dr. Lobna who he grows close to. He doesn't tell her that he is married with kids.
Lobna grows suspicious of Ghaith. She is shocked to discover that he has a family.
Rana tells Lobna to forget about Ghaith. Haya tries to kill herself when she learns that Ghaith is in love with Lobna.
Kamilia is devastated to learn that she has cancer. She informs her estranged daughter of her illness.
After a successful surgery, Bethan decides to go to America with her father. Kamilia's cancer spreads.
Bethan cancels her trip to stay with her mother. When the doctor tells Kamilia that she is pregnant, she refuses to have her surgery. Kamilia dies while giving birth.
