Rollergirls (2006)
Rollergirls was a 2006 A&E Network reality show examining the personalities, antics and motivations of the women involved with the Austin, Texas Lonestar Rollergirls roller derby league. The show focused primarily on the lives of Cha Cha and Venis Envy of Las Putas Del Fuego; Punky Bruiser, Miss Conduct, and Sister Mary Jane of the Holy Rollers; Lunatic and Clownsnack of the Hellcats; and Lux of the Rhinestone Cowgirls. Many other skaters were also highlighted. The league, now known as Texas Roller Derby or TXRD, was founded in 2001 and is run as a "skater-owned and operated" company that continues to this day. The five home teams are the Cherry Bombs, Hellcats, Holy Rollers, Las Putas Del Fuego and Rhinestone Cowgirls. Episodes were initially broadcast on Monday nights beginning on January 2, 2006, with repeated showings throughout the week. Rollergirls was produced by Gary and Julie Auerbach, the creators of MTV's Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County. The show ended after one season.

Chola leads her team in a match against their rival Holy Rollers, which they must win or else!
The Hellcats begin to lose their grip as the Clownsnack issue divides former friends Lunatic and Catalac. In the middle of all this turmoil, Frankie attempts to settle down with Lux, the Rhinestone's rock star jammer.
Wild-at-heart single mom Cha Cha pays the price for her antics - she's banned from skating in a bout against her best friend Lunatic! Now that Cha Cha's out of the picture, Venis Envy has to overcome her self-doubt and take the place of her fallen Del Fuego.
Punky is bummed out about her life until a dear friend visits her. Sister Mary Jane thinks she may retire from roller derby.
Finding a funky location on the East Side, Lux's partner Frankie provides the impetus for the two of them to move in with each other. Finding kindred souls in their new roommates Venis Envy and Palmer, they decide to put on an art exhibition. The first interstate roller derby competition in 30 years is arranged between the Texas league and the Arizona Renegades. Meanwhile, Luna is dissatisfied with the Hellcats and wants to try rejoining the Del Fuegos.
At the end-of-season party, the entire Texas league gets together to hand out awards.
The Rhinestone Cowgirls have their final battle with the Holy Rollers for the coveted Calvello Cup, and afterward everyone says goodbye.
