Season 6:
It’s 1990 and the Auckland Commonwealth Games are in full swing, with a surprise contestant in the road cycling; Wolf has a problem he cannot solve, but ‘help’ is the hardest word; meanwhile, for Rita and Ted, the return of an old friend spells bad news.
Cheryl deals with the devil while Wolf tries his hand at parenting; meanwhile Rita gives death the good old-fashioned West family middle-finger salute.
Carol and Rita explore a range of alternative therapies; Ted and the lads go to a strip club and meet an old friend; meanwhile, for Wolf and the boys, things go from bad to a place beyond worse.
As Wolf deals with failure, Cheryl takes some time out in a place that is almost exactly like Fiji but not; meanwhile Falani finds an old friend living under a bridge, like a troll
Carol and Ngaire go on a bar crawl for revenge while Wolf seeks out the traitor in their midst. Meanwhile, to help Ted, Rita enters into a pact with a most unlikely devil.
Sometimes, when a job goes very very wrong, it is the innocents who must pay the price or take the fall. Rita makes a list, of the bucket variety; which means that Ted, the old dog, masters a new trick.
Rita has one last item she needs to cross off her bucket list; unable to face the future, Carol goes back in time; meanwhile Wolf has to play catch-up.
One last job, a funeral and then a wake; the end is nigh.
