Season 4:
Growing weary of the research frenzy following the discovery that Perry is now, apparently, possessed by The Dean, Laura turns to DIY library improvements and Carmilla stages an intervention.
Our heroes deal with a slight change to their water supply, a sassy entity and a killer pair of eyewear.
When The Dean says one thing and does another, LaFontaine and Carmilla research, rattle and roll their way to what might be ... a clue? Laura knits. Aggressively.
Under what could be a siege or just some very aggressive extra-library maneuvers, our heroes' only chance at survival seems to be to go in "a room full of knives." Will they take the leap?
In which things are cleaned. Aggressively. And feelings are avoided. Aggressively. LaFontaine reminds Laura that she's been through a lot - and it's okay if she doesn't want to jump on the Quest Bandwagon right away.
The Dean discusses consequences. Puzzles are had, and genius strikes from the mouth of the least enthused.
In which some much needed scientific evidence of the "Two Idiots in Love" phenomena is observed. Our heroes have houseguests.
Death isn't all it's cracked up to be, especially in the minioning career path. Our heroes have some trouble on their hands with Danny and Theo, until an unexpected figure from Laura's past appears.
Meeting the parents always seems to happen at the most inopportune time. Laura would later say that this was definitely not how she expected her dad to end up at Silas ...
With his daughter safely rescued, Sherman Hollis is ready to take Laura and get the h-e-double hockey sticks outta dodge. Only, does Laura want that?
Glitchus Interruptus! With the help of a library glitch, our heroes get a sneak peek at what's going on at Casa Dean and realize things are getting worse. LaFontaine and Carmilla try to make a plan, Laura has a decision to make ...
With the camera back on, Laura's back in the saddle, er ... computer chair. So please, if you see anything, or know anything about those Not!Sumerian runes let us know ... We're going to need all the help we can get.
Apparently an avid viewer of Laura in the Loop and SNN from all the way at Princeton, Betty does her best Elle Woods and sends the crew abseiling into the pit to collect the next talisman.
In which our heroes realize how epically screwed they are. Mel wants a rescue, and our heroes have to come up with a plan to save everyone.
Laura has to deal with a worried father and an increasingly complicated puzzle, only to discover it was wrecked from the beginning.
In which creativity is applied to a situation screaming out for it, Jp 3.0 finds a way for our heroes to listen in at Casa Dean again.
Ooops - so after THAT particular indiscretion, our heroes get to work on Plan B, since Plan A is rife with emotional baggage that probably should be unpacked, just not at this particular moment. Demon Summoning 101, anyone?
Startled by the sudden appearance of a ghost from their past, Laura and Carmilla are faced with a complex decision involving Laura's vocabulary and spelling skills.
So remember when Laura said that all of the talismans had a deep connection to whatever carries the most personal baggage for her? Yikes at this last one. YIKES.
Surrounded by squishy emotions and hormones to boot, LaFontaine's quest to save Perry reaches some very interesting conclusions. Because avoiding feelings is totally a thing.
Their hands forced by LaFontaine's excellent application of elephant tranqs, Laura and Carmilla attempt to make the most of their new housemate ... an exorcism ensues.
Stuck in a faerie circle, the Dean plays her hand, and her emotional manipulation, and her very clever application of many, many hurtful words. Our heroes are in for a rough night ...
Showing up just in the nick of time to stop Carmilla from accidentally setting The Dean free, Mattie, ethereal agent of Ereshkigal, steps in to have a chat with her maker.
The Dean is free with the help of Red K Danny and Human Toenail Theo. Laura, LaFontaine and Carmilla have to fight to save the talismans! Will they survive?
Carmilla, stunned by Laura's disappearance, has to figure out how to get her back and stop The Dean. Laura, meanwhile, has found herself in a strange version of The Library ...
After Jp 3.0's stunning revelation, Laura is back to thinking The Library is out to get her ... or at least morally compromise her ... so that's fun. Meanwhile, LaFontaine tries to avoid getting bitten by Carmilla.
So it turns out the (not) Upside Down also features some ... interesting figures from Laura's past.
When her plans go decidedly south, Laura is forced to act. And it gets messy ...
Reunited, Carmilla and Laura confront the grim truth: one of their own is no longer with them, and time is running out. Our heroes need a plan in like, the worst way.
Mel returns in all her extremely annoyed glory, because really, they should have staged a rescue sooner.
Mattie returns from ... wherever it was The Dean sent her (probably Siberia) with a new, grand plan that totally won't end badly for our heroes ... hint hint wink wink nudge nudge.
Laura and Carmilla confront that pesky age difference thing y'all are always joking about on tumblr ... among other things.
Checking in with Mel turns into a slightly messier endeavor than initially hoped for.
Mel and Kirsch have differing opinions on how awesome LaFontaine is.
The Dean suffers a setback. Laura makes the most of an opportunity and Carmilla can do nothing but watch.
Carmilla deals with the consequences of Laura's choice. What was taken is restored, what was bargained, granted. A journey, ending. I'm not crying you are.
