City Electric's Thompson Pass job has come to a sudden halt. Desperate for money, Bam Bam sends his crew to a remote tundra town where they encounter a deadly ice road. EPC`s efforts on Kodiak Island hit rock bottom.
Sparks fly between a veteran ALB lineman and a newcomer gunning to take control. City Electric's equipment is lost to an icy river, and EPC tests a new invention in Kodiak.
All three companies battle for a single job, but only one will win the bid. Meanwhile a Kodiak Bear stalks the EPC crew and one lineman has a terrible accident.
A devastating injury shocks the City Electric crew; ALB deals with a web of live wires to complete a job.
With Bam Bam in the hospital, the City Electric team struggles to move on. Ben and Kenny from EPC race snow machines into the night for an emergency job.
ALB races to finish the Tuntutuliak job, while EPC's successful winter ends with their riskiest assignment yet. Also, City Electric's Bam Bam comes back after his neck injury and receives shocking news.
