Akko is finally matriculating at Luna Nova Witchcraft Academy! But she faces expulsion if she doesn't get to the entrance ceremony.
Akko is excited when her classes finally start, but learning magic turns out to be boring. Worse, her classmates make fun of her for admiring Chariot.
Akko starts flying lessons using a broom that Professor Ursula gives her, but she struggles -- and the Academy's broom relay race is coming up.
Akko, Lotte and Sucy receive detention for stealing a tart. They're also forbidden to go into town, even though Lotte is dying to go to a book event.
After getting into a fight in class, Akko and Amanda have detention together: They must clean the New Moon Tower, where they find dragons.
