Forbidden City (2017)
Inspired by film noir and North American pulp fiction from the 1930s and 1940s, “Forbidden City” follows the adventures of a former police officer turned private eye. Specialized in adultery cases, the detective employs his power of seduction and ends up mixing his personal and professional lives, getting involved in complex plots that might be a threat to his own life.

Season 1:
Zozimo becomes involved with the mysterious Vera, a widow who seems to have many secrets.
Gloria believes her husband committed suicide because of her. The dead man seems to be haunting the widow. Zozimo suspects the case.
Zozimo becomes the target of a jealous husband who blames the detective for the death of his wife and decides to take revenge; an eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth.
Director distrusts the fidelity of his wife, a famous actress. Zozimo participates in farce to investigate Lupi. Situation is beyond control.
Paranhos is in love with Violeta. Dealer makes proposal to the delegate. Zózimo and Marli end up involved in a family crisis.
Zózimo tries to make a proposal to Marli, who is excited. Detective gets her life by a thread and remembers how it all began.
