Season 1:
Lakas belongs to the desert tribe in the Sansinukob. Despite being the poorest among the five indigenous tribes, the desert dwellers thrive in combat, raising their children to become powerful warriors. However, Lakas struggles to fit in because his father, Agos, is deemed by their fellowmen as a traitor. Seeking redemption for his father, Lakas resolves to become a great warrior of his tribe. Meanwhile, Agos learns the shocking truth behind the real traitor among the desert dwellers.
Learn the history of the people of the Taga-Disyerto and how it changed the life of Lakas, a warrior from the region. Lakas vows not to use his superior fighting skills for Dakim’s greed. Tragedy strikes when warriors from Taga-Kalakal tries to raid Taga-Disyerto. Lakas undertakes a brave move and warns people to "RUN!", but leads them the wrong way. The warriors of Taga-Disyerto take charge and fights the other region, but only to come across nothing because they went the opposite way. Lakas and the citizens of Taga-Disyerto comes across Tsga-Kalakal.

Acknowledging Lakas' strength in combat, Ganda requests the warrior to train her people and help protect her prosperous kingdom from its enemies. However, Ganda remains unaware that Lakas is on a mission to infiltrate and invade her kingdom for the desert dwellers. Using his father Agos' teachings, Lakas trains the farming people in combat. Amid the rigorous training, Lakas starts to develop a close friendship with Ganda.
Soon after, Lakas learns Ganda's of tragic past. In the trading region, Lakam questions Ama's decision to blindside the farmers despite his betrothal with the farming kingdom's princess. Meanwhile, Mayari, a slave from the aquatic region, develops an admiration for the datu. Elsewhere, Dumakulem desires to venture past the domain of the forest kingdom.
Lakas begins to bond with farmers of Taga-Patag, developing a soft spot for the kindhearted farmers. He finds it hard to let Dakim invade the peaceful kingdom.
However, Lakas crumbles at the sight of Lila being at the mercy of the greedy desert tribe leader. Hoping to avoid an unnecessary war between the two rival tribes, Dumakulem ventures to the fishing kingdom to seek an audience with Datu. Meanwhile, Lakam leads the traders' army in a surprise attack against the farming kingdom, bringing further bloodshed among the three tribes.
The war brings bloodshed between the tribes of Taga-Patag and Taga-Disyerto. Dakim and Lakas have a subtle argument. Dakim tries to murder Lakas, but fails when Ganda saves Lakas by stabbing Dakim before he could reach Lakas. The war then branches out, bringing Taga-Kalakal into the situation. Meanwhile, Dumakulem and Mayari attempt to stop a senseless war between Taga-Laot and Taga-Gubat. As chaos spreads across Sansinukob, the guardian deities Apo and Sarimaw grow concerned over the mortals’ abuse of freedom and bloodlust for power.
